Raquel Leviss Facing Radio Silence From ‘Pump Rules’ Cast Following Legal Drama
The cast of Vanderpump Rules wants to distance themselves from Raquel Leviss after the exposure of her affair with Tom Sandoval.
Raquel Leviss recently released a second statement amid the fallout, explaining that her covert romance with Tom Sandoval was “born out of a loving friendship.”
Her co-stars were not impressed, according to a Page Six.
“Right now Raquel needs to atone and go away, so that those she has hurt and betrayed can be given the space and time to heal,” the insider told the outlet.
“If she was truly remorseful, she would stop making public statements multiple times a day, sending frivolous legal letters to her castmates, accept that she wouldn’t be in this situation if she hadn’t pursued a relationship with her best friend’s partner, and end this bizarre PR spectacle,” the insider stated.
A source previously claimed that the cast had not passed around the explicit video that exposed the romance, and that only Leviss, Sandoval and Sandoval’s ex, Ariana Madix, had seen the footage.
The outlet’s source slammed Leviss for playing “victim,” when it was Madix who was crushed to learn of the months-long affair after she saw the video pop up on Sandoval’s phone.
“Raquel is not a victim; she just plays one on TV,” the tipster quipped.
A separate source alleged that “no one” from the Bravo show is currently talking to Leviss.
Leviss, 28, wrote in her statement Wednesday that despite caring for Sandoval, 39, she needed time “to heal.” The reality star has reportedly been in seclusion with her family and has not been in contact with Sandoval.
“Tom has been unable to track Raquel down for several days,” one insider said. “He’s been asking mutual acquaintances if they’ve heard from her at all, but has had no luck. He can’t get in touch with her.”
Raquel stepped out on Wednesday and was photographed, despite a seeming effort to stay anonymous in a black outfit and cap. Her bruised eye—supposedly caused during a scuffle with Scheana Shay—was visible in the photos. The incident prompted the Bravo star to file for a restraining order against Shay, Madix’s best friend. Leviss claimed that Shay injured her after she admitted to having the affair with Sandoval.
Raquel Leviss posted photos to reveal the bruise caused by Shay’s alleged punch to her face. Leviss claimed that Shay pushed her against a brick wall resulting in injury to the back of her head, before punching her in the face, per the legal filing.
Raquel claimed that mutual friends and coworkers later informed her that Shay did not regret the physical attack and would do it again if she believed that Madix had suffered any further emotional distress.
The legal filing described the injuries sustained by Leviss as a “black eye and cut/scar to left eyebrow, blurred vision. and swelling to the left eye.”
Vanderpump Rules airs Wednesdays, at 9 p.m. ET, on Bravo.
