Stassi Schroeder Reveals Raquel Leviss and Tom Schwartz’s Kiss Was a Cover-Up
Vanderpump Rules alum, Stassi Schroeder, thinks that the Season 10 kissing storyline between Raquel Leviss’ and Tom Schwartz was launched as a “cover-up” for Leviss’ scandalous affair with Tom Sandoval.
Stassi Schroeder, 34, decided to weigh in on the messy drama a week after news broke that Sandoval had been cheating on Ariana Madix for months.
“It sounds like something that Sandoval would have come up with,” the Bravo alum said of the August 2022 hookup, during Wednesday’s episode of her podcast, Straight Up With Stassi.
“It does,” Schroeder continued. “He would be like, ‘This would be a great way to cover up.’ It’s a cover-up. And Raquel [was] like, ‘Yeah.’”
Stassi Schroeder also alleged that Schwartz’s ex-wife, Katie Maloney, didn’t believe that Leviss and her ex even had feelings for each other. She recalled that Maloney said how “f–ked up” it was for the duo to “hurt” her “for a story.”
Maloney supposedly explained — “Schwartz isn’t interested in Raquel and Raquel’s not even interested in Schwartz. … This doesn’t feel real.”
The fashion blogger said that the hookup “now … makes sense,” despite appearing “weird” at the time.
“She didn’t give a f–k,” Schroeder said. “She was in love with Tom Sandoval and hooking up with him behind Ariana’s back.”
Schroeder also brought up Raquel Leviss’ smooch session with Oliver Saunders, son of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Garcelle Beauvais, calling the “messy” kiss a “distraction” during the covert affair.
In September, Oliver’s wife, Samantha Saunders, took to Instagram to accuse her husband of making out with Raquel, 27, amid production of Season 10 of Pump Rules. Oliver had been working at Lisa Vanderpump’s “Vanderpump à Paris” in Las Vegas for several months prior to the encounter.
“I have been told to stay SILENT! DIVORCE,” Samantha captioned the lengthy post.
“Since Oliver has started working at @vanderpumpparis he has disrespected me and my kids in every way possible,” Samantha alleged, in part. “I have found out he has made out with Raquel while filming @lisavanderpump & plans to continue to go on a date with Raquel while filming.”
Stassi, who was fired from the show in June 2020 over past racist remarks, commented — “I’ve never felt so thankful to be fired from something. F–k,” calling her former cast mates’ betrayals “mind-blowing.”
Stassi confirmed that she was “Team Ariana,” calling Sandoval an “incredibly selfish, narcissistic, egotistical person.”
Raquel issued an apology to Ariana Wednesday, via a statement to ET.
The statement read, in part — “I want to apologize for my actions and my choices foremost to Ariana, and to my friends and the fans so invested in our relationships. There is no excuse, I am not a victim and I must own my actions and I deeply regret hurting Ariana.”
Raquel added that she was undergoing counseling to deal with her “patterns of codependency and addiction to being and feeling loved.”
She said — “I am taking steps to understand my behavior and make healthier choices.”
