Following the announcement of her early departure, Anila Sajja, released a statement to ET in which she clarified that, “there are three sides to a story: somewhere between their story and mine, is the TRUTH.”

“The truth is — only half of the rumors are true. I won’t be on the upcoming season of Married to Medicine but I won’t be gone for long…,” the 43-year-old reality star promised. “I have been working on some projects that will give me the FULL opportunity to continue to share my life journey, family, and my Indian culture. My ‘story’ continues whether it is filmed or not.”

Can’t wait to share what I’m working on next … The best is yet to come.”

As reported, former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Phaedra Parks, will be joining the cast of Married to Medicine as a full-time cast member for Season 10, in light of the recent departures of Anila Sajja and Contessa Metcalfe.

The 10th season of Married to Medicine is expected to begin production later this year. Phaedra will be introduced on the show by her friend and current cast member, Quad Webb.
