American Express attempted to garnish Kim Zolciak’s TV paychecks while she starred on Bravo’s reality series, Don’t Be Tardy, for the outstanding amount of $215k.

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Amex sent legal documents to True Entertainment LLC aka Truly Entertainment in August 2019.

The reality series aired on Bravo TV and followed the lives of Kim Kolciak, her husband Kroy Biermann, daughters Brielle, Ariana and the youngest Biermanns – Kaia, Kane, Kash, and KJ.

According to American Express, Kim Zolciak owes a whopping $216,369, and the company requested that True Entertainment withhold the monies from the reality diva’s salary.

The credit card company laid out specific instructions to “hold all money, including wages, and other property, except what is known to be exempt, belonging to the Defendant or obligations owed to the Defendant named above beginning on the day of service of this summons and including the next 179 days.”

Unfortunately for American Express, Truly Entertainment notified the credit card company that Kim was not owed any money.

The credit card company also had their lawyers send legal request to Kim Zolciak’s husband’s former employer, Atlanta Falcons. It’s unclear why they believed the Falcons would have money owed to Kim.

Don’t Be Tardy came to an end in 2021. Bravo canceled the reality series after eight seasons.

In 202o, Kim’s husband, Kroy Biermann, was ordered to pay up a years-long debt to his former sports agent.

In the case brought by Kroy’s former sports agent, a Fulton County Superior Court judge granted a default judgment of $22,000.

Brielle Biermann

As reported, the reality TV diva’s out-of-control gambling habit and over-the-top spending on luxury goods has led to her financial demise.

Her Georgia mansion is currently in foreclosure and set to be auctioned on March 7. A notice was filed with Fulton County Records by Truist Bank formerly SunTrust Bank to proceed with seizure of the property. There is an outstanding mortgage amount of $1,650,000.00, plus taxes and fees. According to Fulton county records, Truist Bank began the foreclosure proceedings on Kim’s 7,186 square ft. Alpharetta, Georgia back in August 2022 and plans to auction off the property on March 7, 2023, at the Fulton County courthouse.
