Fans Celebrate Kim Zolciak Losing Her Home Foreclosure

The home that Kim Zolciak shares with husband, Kroy Biermann, is about to hit the auction block. The Don’t Be Tardy couple’s 7,186 square foot Alpharetta, Georgia mansion is up for foreclosure and Bravo fans have had plenty to say about it. 

Fulton County shared a notice confirming that the property is slated to be auctioned off to the “highest bidder for cash” on March 7, in front of the Fulton County Courthouse. Trust Bank will sell off the property after the former reality TV couple defaulted on a $300k loan that was used to complete renovations on their lavish dream home. The couple purchased the home in 2012 for $880k and established a $1.65 mortgage in 2013. 

In November, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum vehemently denied rumors that her house was in foreclosure. 

“Ok you guys, my house has not sold for $257,000, she said in an Instagram Story. “If you guys think I would let my home that we’ve put millions and millions of dollars into go for $257,000, you’re an idiot, okay? For real.”

“So, what are you gonna do, haters, when I’m here for Christmas, and I’m here for my birthday in May, and I’m here for all these amazing dates?” she asked. “I’m here until I f—ing want to move, until I decide I don’t want to live here anymore. So, enjoy the view, haters. You’re going to be seeing it for quite some time.”

Kim and Kroy share four children together — Kroy “KJ” Jagger Jr., 11, Kash Kade, 10, and twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, 9. Kroy also adopted Kim’s daughters from a previous relationship, Brielle, 25, and Ariana Biermann, 21. 

Fans were not surprised to see the foreclosure rumor confirmed and have been sounding off on social media about the situation.  

Lots of fans took to the Instagram comment section of Page Six’s post on Kim and Kroy’s foreclosure — but few had sympathy for the Bravo duo.

One user wrote — “The way she spent like there was no tomorrow. The plastic surgeries, endless vacations, designer bags and clothes and popping out kids every 6 seconds with a husband whose NFL career ended quicker than it started and the family show being canceled, Yeah, that’s how u end up in foreclosure people.”

Another said — “This is what happens when you’re more concerned with keeping up appearances and making people think you have more than you actually do. I wonder how she’s going to deny this.”

A third wondered — “How about they sell it before it went into foreclosure? They could of paid back debts & moved to a more modest home.” 

One follower quipped — “My guess is she was really tardy to the mortgage payments.”

Another person wrote — “This is karma for how she flaunted her lifestyle for the cameras 🎥 the designer luggage they had have and vacations they clearly could not afford . When you really got it you don’t flaunt it . They were hillbilly rich . Stay humble.”

A fan asked — “Is anyone surprised!? She and her kids poured through his money like it was neverending. I feel bad for him. He fell in love young and inherited an extravagant diva and her kids.”

One fan pointed out — “She had a personal chef on top of everything too, a nanny, I just don’t even understand what they were thinking.”

Another noted — “He hasn’t played football in years and he never made millions. Seems like a nice guy but not real bright. His job has been being her husband and looking cute for her. It’s a messed up bunch.”
