Katie Maloney snapped after Raquel Leviss posted a date night photo with her ex-husband, Tom Schwartz.
Katie and Tom announced their breakup in March 2022 after six years of marriage — their divorce was final on October 12, 2022. However, it appears that Katie still has feelings for her ex-husband or feels she has authority over who he dates.
Katie’s fiery passion for Tom was evident over the weekend when she went off on her Vanderpump Rules co-star, Raquel Leviss, for posting a photo of the new couple’s outing.
On Saturday, February 18, Raquel shared a photo of herself and Tom – looking cozy — in front of his and Tom Sandoval’s restaurant, Schwartz & Sandy’s Lounge, in Los Angeles.
Raquel, 28, captioned the post of her and Tom, 40, making funny faces for the camera, “Just ‘cause.”
Katie, 36, responded to the post by mocking Raquel — and her comment triggered countless responses.
“You really thought you did something here, but these comments ATE LOLOL,” she wrote along with three skull emojis.
In a separate comment, Katie reiterated her opinion, “Nobody sad. … I’m dead! The amount of times the picture landed in my inbox, I couldn’t leave it alone. Desperado.”
In response to Katie’s comments, Raquel shared a cryptic quote via her Instagram Stories.
“Stop ruining your mental health over people and situations that you have no control over,” the message read. “It’s time to let go.”
Katie and Raquel have been feuding since Tom and Raquel confirmed their relationship in a public make out session at Scheana Shay and Brock Davies’ wedding.
“Raquel and Katie are on the outs,” a source told Us Weekly in October 2022. “Especially after the hookup happened, Katie has distanced herself from Raquel.”
During a Life & Style interview ahead of the debut of season 10 of Vanderpump Rules in February 2023, Raquel explained her feelings regarding her kiss with Tom.
“As a single person, I feel like I’m putting myself first for the very first time in my life, and I thought that Schwartz was very [and] has always been super sweet,” she explained on February 8. “I was never really attracted to him or thought of him in that way until after James and I broke up. So, it was something that interested me, and I gave it a shot.”
