Fans Slam ‘Insecure’ Melissa Gorga For Using Teresa Giudice For ‘RHONJ’ Storyline
Fans are calling out Melissa Gorga and her husband, Joe, after Tuesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey featured the first squabble of the season between Teresa Giudice and her sister-in-law.
Melissa called out Teresa for “lying” during a debate over how people were seated at Teresa and then-fiancé, Louie Ruelas’ engagement party.
“[Melissa] was sitting at my table, ’cause she asked to move to the other table,” Teresa said.
Melissa denied Teresa’s version of events and called her co-star a liar.
“Hold on,” Melissa demanded. “I thought right now you would never look in my eyes and lie, but you’re gonna say…”
Melissa alleged that Teresa purposely arranged to sit apart from her and her husband, Teresa’s brother, Joe Gorga.
Melissa said — “There was two tables, you and Louie’s family and Dina [Manzo] and your kids at one table, and me and Jennifer [Aydin] and some hairdressers at the other table.”
Teresa continued to deny the claim, asking — “Why wouldn’t I want my only brother to sit right next to me?”
Fans had little to say about the petty wedding drama — but had lots of opinions about Melissa mixing it up with the RHONJ OG for yet another season.
Annoyed viewers, seemingly tired of the repetitive family drama, spoke up on Twitter, blasting Melissa and Joe for using their never-ending feud with Teresa as their rinse-and-repeat storyline.
One fan tweeted — “Do you think Melissa and Joe can go one season without mentioning Teresa? Serious question.”
Another said — “Teresa: “I’m so happy for my wedding. This is going to be fun. I’m in love Melissa and Joe: “Teresa, Teresa, Teresa, Teresa, Teresa….She’s all they ever talk about — that’s how you know the Gorgas never crafted their own legacy on this show.”
One viewer wanted to know — “are we gonna get a scene of joe gorga moping about teresa to melissa on their couch every episode..”
Another person wrote — “You don’t have to like Teresa to think Melissa and Joe are using her for a check. They create conflict with her to keep their jobs. They have nothing to offer.”
One Twitter user wrote — “So why can’t Melissa and Joe address their own scandals instead of talking about Teresa all season ?!? I’m sick of bravo protecting these attention fiends!”
Another pointed out — “Teresa is the QUEEN of #RHONJ. She’s the only housewife doing solo promo. She is #RHONJ. The slander and lies from Melissa and Joe are disgusting. I think they are insecure when it comes to their own positions within the franchise.”

A third added — “Another season of Joe and Melissa being obsessed with Teresa. Get. A. Job.”
