Kyle Richards Says She’s NOT ‘In The Mood to Take Anybody’s BS’ In Season 13
Kyle Richards is looking forward to a new chapter as production for the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills kicks off. Kyle spoke to Hollywood Life about what she hopes to experience in Season 13, after a particularly rough Season 12.
“I think I’m looking forward to just moving on really,” Kyle told the outlet at the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection Concert, on February 1.
“Last season was a very, very difficult season,” she noted.
Fans know that Kyle clashed with her sister, Kathy Hilton, in messy family drama that unfolded during Season 12.
“So I just want to move on from the negativity and the toxicity,” Kyle said. “And get back to, you know, having a good time. And our relationships and growing more together as a group.”
The 54-year-old reality star added that she hoped to “bring in some positivity” into the upcoming season.
“I mean, I’m not in the mood to take anybody’s BS,” Kyle declared. “So that’s an energy I’m bringing. And I really just want to get back to having fun. So you know, I’ve had seasons where I have had so much fun. I’ve laughed the whole time. And of course, a couple tears here and there. But this one was just so rough. I just want to get back to, you know, having fun again and a woman having a good time.”
Lisa Rinna will not be returning to RHOBH after appearing for eight seasons. The cast shakeup came after the actress aimed harsh accusations at Kathy during a cast trip to Aspen. Rinna accused the cast “friend” of threatening to destroy Kyle while suffering what the Bravo star called a “psychotic break.” Rinna was hit with scathing backlash, as many fans believed that she had interfered in the relationship between Kyle and her sister.
Kyle believes that her friend made the right decision to step away from the series.
“I think that the show can be very difficult. And you know, I understand that,” Kyle said. “Sometimes you need a break. And she was great on the show, and she will be missed. And you never know what happens in the future. So we’ll see.”
The mom of four admitted that there will be a “new dynamic” without the former soap opera actress in the mix.
“The dynamic is always changing each season as cast members come and go and, you know, alliances change, and people learn and grow, hopefully,” the reality star said. “So, yes, of course, there will be a new dynamic. Absolutely.”
Earlier this month, Kyle confirmed that she remained on the outs with her sister.
“I haven’t seen her in a while, I have not seen her in a while,” the reality star told Page Six, at the same event. “Things are not great since the reunion to be honest.”
Kyle noted that the siblings’ estrangement had been upsetting. She added that she hoped that filming season would not prove to be awkward.
“Welcome to my life,” she said. “My life is awkward all the time!”
Bravo has yet to announce the official Season 13 RHOBH cast, but Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Crystal Minkoff, Garcelle Beauvais, and Sutton Stracke are all expected to return. Kathy Hilton reportedly remains on the fence about another go-round and Diana Jenkins will not return amid a high-risk pregnancy.
