Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita have ended their long-standing war, bringing closure to one of the greatest Housewives feuds of the last decade.
Teresa Giudice has fought a number of intense battles with her co-stars on The Real Housewives of New Jersey over the years, but her feud with Jacqueline Laurita stands out because they were once close friends.
Both women shared photos of their Las Vegas reconciliation on Instagram, captioning the update, “5 hour lunch! Lots to talk about. Lots of laughs too! Reunited and it feels so good!”
Friend of Teresa, Gina Marie, who appeared on RHONJ in the past, commented. “This is great ladies God bless you both🙏🙌👏 #healing # restoration # buildingbridges.”
It appears that the reunion was unexpected, and with good reason, since the two women had a long-running feud.
Jacqueline Laurita, 52, was a Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member from Season 1 to Season 7. She and Teresa, 50, were very close friends.
After several disagreements and clashes, Jacqueline left the show before Season 8, telling Entertainment Tonight, “Unfortunately, I will not be returning. I think the feeling [from the network] is that I no longer have an authentic connection with two of the season’s cast members.”
Jacqueline was referring to Teresa and Melissa Gorga, with whom Jacqueline had a huge fight with in Season 7.
Teresa and her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, are no longer on speaking terms after a huge falling out surrounding her wedding.
Jacqueline says Melissa Gorga befriended her, only to use her to hurt Teresa Giudice.
Jacqueline Laurita claims that Melissa Gorga called Jacqueline’s sister-in-law, Caroline Manzo, “too old and boring” to return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Also, Jacqueline blamed Melissa and her husband Joe Gorga for the end of her friendship with Teresa Guidice. “The whole time, Melissa and Joe were in my ear manipulating me, telling me secrets about Teresa, things Teresa would say and do to them, and telling me things Teresa would say behind my back.” She went on to say that after Melissa came around, she began to see a different side of Teresa.
Following their very public fallout years earlier, fans were amazed to see Jacqueline and Teresa reunited. Many people flooded Teresa’s comment section with over 7,000 comments and 162K Likes.
