As reported, Brandi Glanville made sexual advances towards Caroline Manzo multiple times throughout a party without her consent — production launched a comprehensive investigation into the allegations.

Following the incident, it was decided by production to report what happened to upper management while filming continued. However, Caroline Manzo was deeply disturbed by the  violation that she decided to exit the show on her own accord.

“It was unwanted,” a source told People. “And Caroline’s distress over the matter did not seem to stop Brandi. Things escalated and physical boundaries allegedly were crossed that Caroline felt were serious and uncomfortable.”

Representatives for Peacock and Shed Media released a statement about what happened during the shooting of Ex-Wives Club’s second installment in Marrakech, Morocco.

“The safety and security of cast and crew while shooting is extremely important and we take all reports seriously,” their statement to People stated. “In this situation, production immediately launched a comprehensive review and is taking appropriate action.”

After the incident, filming continued that night and Brandi was notified that Caroline felt violated and disgusted by her predatory behavior. Allegedly the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star apologized via text message.

However, Caroline was unaware that the decision had been made to remove Brandi from the trip early that afternoon. “Brandi’s behavior was inappropriate,” a third source said, “so she was asked to leave.”

Caroline left the show on her own later that night after deciding she didn’t want to continue to film. “She needed to process this outside of the reality TV environment,” the first insider said.

Caroline had the support of production and her costars: Vicki Gunvalson, Eva Marcille, Phaedra Parks, Camille Meyer, Alex McCord and Gretchen Rossi. After the incident, filming continued on the series and wrapped days later.

As a guest, the mother of two has appeared on other shows such as Celebrity Apprentice, Celebrity Big Brother, Famously Single, My Kitchen Rules, and most recently The Traitors on Peacock.
