NeNe Leakes SHADES Eboni K. Williams … The Attorney Claps Back With Receipts
Eboni K. Williams is putting NeNe Leakes on blast with solid receipts for denying she knows the attorney.
The drama started when NeNe Leakes, 55, appeared on The Breakfast Club as a guest-host earlier this week and commented on the current state of the Housewives franchise.
NeNe told Charlamagne tha God and DJ Envy that Bravo had gotten rid of all the key players on the Housewives and that none of the remaining women were famous — this includes Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon from The Real Housewives of Potomac.
“They’re not famous,” NeNe said. “They may be known … there’s a difference between famous and known. And so, I don’t know about famous but maybe they’re known for a minute.”
When asked about her former co-star Kandi Burruss — NeNe reluctantly responded, “I will give Kandi, yeah, but everyone else … I don’t see it. I think they’re known.”
The radio host then asked NeNe if former Real Housewives of New York star, Eboni K. Williams is famous, to which NeNe responded by stating that she “didn’t know,” her.
“I don’t know her either. Is she famous or is she known?” NeNe told Charlamagne tha God and DJ Envy.
Eboni K. Williams appeared on The Breakfast Club to guest co-host and brought receipts in response to NeNe’s claims.
Apparently, NeNe does know the first African-American woman to star on RHONY. Eboni produced receipts that proved the two had been in touch via Instagram DM — and even spoke on the phone.
When Charlamagne tha God and DJ Envy told the New Yorker that the former The Real Housewives of Atlanta star stated she didn’t know her, Eboni replied — “Yeah, that’s so interesting to me though … cause I’m looking at my Instagram DMs and that’s a receipt.”
NeNe and Eboni exchanged DM messages and had a “lovely” discussion on the phone, according to Eboni. The Real Housewives of New York City alum noted that NeNe even cited the attorney in her discrimination lawsuit against Bravo.
“I was named in NeNe’s legal complaint. I’m actually a named person as an example of the racial discrimination that she alleged Bravo of participating in. She cites my example, what I went through with Ramona on camera. So the court documents say you do know me NeNe.” Eboni K. Williams shared.

Eboni’s response was met with widespread support from observers — many praised her for calling out NeNe’s contradictions.
One person wrote, “Nene was lying so much. She was being messy for so sure.” Another fan responded, “Nene knew exactly who you are, you are everything she would want to be. Eboni has a career outside of being a housewife. Eboni is beautiful, smart, has talent. Besides that look how beautiful & down to earth Eboni looks, SHE DOESNT HAVE TO WEAR HER MONEY, SHE IS MONEY..Nene is shady af!!!”
Someone else pointed out, “I’m so happy we have this intelligent woman on the breakfast club today she’s always positive and great energy.”
Another praised Eboni for providing proof to back her claims, “I’m glad Ebony has receipts. I can’t take anything Nene is saying serious because we know she would run back to RHOA if they wanted her back.”
“Everything that comes out of NeNe’s mouth is rooted in jealousy because she’s no longer on the show!! I don’t care what she says about not wanting to be on the show and no longer being interested in it, she’s hating! She’s mad that she couldn’t get back on the show and be the queen Bee! She fumbled the bag and is still mad because her $$ is dwindling and she’s not a good.” A critic commented.
A fan noted, “Nene literally made the “Real Housewives” franchise mainstream.”
Eboni K. Williams and NeNe Leakes’ incident is another example of how women in entertainment can support or undermine each other. Share your thoughts in the comment section.
