Michael Strahan’s Girlfriend Kayla Quick’s Criminal Past Exposed

Michael Strahan’s longtime girlfriend, Kayla Quick, has a tarnished history, which includes an arrest for theft. The Good Morning America host has been involved with Kayla, 33, since his 2015 split from ex-fiancée, Nicole Murphy. 

Radar Online obtained documents that revealed that Kayla first landed in trouble at the age of 14 after she was arrested for disorderly conduct. The teenager reportedly got into a skirmish in her hometown of Port Charlotte, Florida, but due to her juvenile status, details surrounding the case are not on public record. 

A separate arrest affidavit revealed that Kayla was later busted for allegedly stealing from her elderly grandmother. The arrest document, which was filed by the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, confirmed that she was charged with grand theft. 

The affidavit stated that Kayla and her then-boyfriend, Justin, were accused of stealing $6k worth of jewelry from her 83-year-old grandmother, after breaking into her home. The elderly woman decided to press charges after she was tipped off by a neighbor that the pair had been lurking around her property. Kayla confessed to the police hours later. The case was forwarded to the juvenile authorities.

The outlet also reported that Kayla worked as a cocktail waitress at a Tampa strip club, Thee Dollhouse, when she was eighteen years old. The insider alleged that the teen would bring in “up to $2k a week.”

Kayla’s ex, Justin, spoke to the outlet, explaining that she was a “good girl” in her younger years before her behavior took a negative turn as a teenager. Justin alleged that “almost overnight she became this huge partier.”

Michael, 51, launched his television career after an impressive 15-year run as a defensive end with the New York Giants. He appeared briefly as Kelly Ripa’s co-host on Live! With Kelly and Michael, but soon left to join the team at Good Morning America.

He co-hosts the daytime show with Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos. He appears as a sports analyst on Fox NFL Sunday and hosts the game show, $100,000 Pyramid. Michael also boasts his own skincare and clothing lines. 

Michael and Kayla recently appeared together as the GMA frontman received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The duo shared a smooch on the red carpet at the event, on Monday. Michael’s mother and his children, Tanita, 31, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Wanda Hutchins, and 18-year-old twins from his marriage to ex, Jean Muggli, Isabella, and Sophia, were also in attendance. Michael, who wore a sharp navy suit for the L.A. ceremony, also shares a 28-year-old son, Michael Jr., with Wanda.
