Rumored ‘RHOBH’ Newbie Ayda Field Will Not Be On Season 13 Cast
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills casting rumors continue to swirl, but Robbie Williams’ wife, Ayda Field, is out of the running, according to a report by Radar Online.
Earlier this month, a source told DeuxMoi that Field was set to be cast for RHOBH Season 13. A separate tipster disputed the claim that Field had scored a diamond or had even landed a role as a “friend” of the cast. Field is followed on Instagram by the last remaining original RHOBH cast member, Kyle Richards.
Returning cast members, Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Crystal Minkoff, Garcelle Beauvais, and Sutton Stracke are expected to begin filming this week. Kathy Hilton reportedly remains on the fence about returning to the show after a bumpy Season 12.
Earlier this month, Lisa Rinna announced that she would not be returning to the series.
Rinna, who appeared on the show for eight seasons, addressed her departure via a statement to PEOPLE.
“This is the longest job I have held in my 35 year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series,” she stated. “It has been a fun eight-year run and I am excited for what is to come!”
Her rep added— “After taking the time to weigh her current options and business obligations, Lisa and Bravo have discussed and mutually decided that she will not be returning to RHOBH.”
Bravo executive and Watch What Happens Live host, Andy Cohen, marked Rinna‘s “iconic run” on his Instagram Story, where he posted a graphic collage of Rinna’s messiest moments.
Rinna clashed with Kathy Hilton during a cast trip to Aspen last season, during which Rinna accused the RHOBH “friend” of threatening to destroy her sister, Kyle Richards, while suffering what Rinna called a “psychotic break.”
Rinna’s final season also featured a feud with Sutton Stracke, in addition to her blowout fight with Kathy. In October, disgusted fans almost booed the former soap opera actress off the stage, during a BravoCon panel appearance.
Kathy initially vowed that she would not return for Season 13 if the same cast remained in place, namely Rinna and Erika Jayne, who had accused Kathy of using a slur during the Aspen trip.
“I had said that I would only be willing to come back if the cast, if it was completely the same, absolutely not, because I feel there are two bullies that intimidate a lot of the other girls,” Kathy said after Season 12 aired.
“They’re capable of anything,” she added.
Kathy later walked back the ultimatum, but the network decided to part ways with Rinna, after the rollercoaster season. Earlier this month, Erika spoke to TMZ about Kathy, commenting that she respected the socialite for returning to the series, despite their contentious history.
Bravo has yet to confirm who will be stepping in to fill the cast spots left open by Rinna and Diana Jenkins, who left the show due to a high-risk pregnancy.
