‘Basketball Wives’ Season 10 Returns With A Cheating Scandal and Explosive Drama!

Basketball Wives is finally returning after abruptly ending in the middle of Season 10 with no formal announcement.

VH1 announced the return of the reality series on February 13. After leaving fans hanging mid-season with no conclusion to the character’s storylines — the second part of season 10 will pick right back up where the drama left us.

Jennifer Williams

The cast will include Jackie Christie, Brandi Maxiell, Malaysia Pargo, Angel Brinks, DJ Duffey, Brooke Bailey, Jennifer Williams, and Brittish Williams. In the midseason trailer of Basketball Wives, the ladies navigate their relationships with friends and the men in their life.

The press release for the next half of the season reads, “Loyalty runs deep amongst the group, but even the strongest friendships face obstacles navigating life, love, relationships, conflicts, and everything in between, putting their bonds to the test.”

The press release continues, “And when cracks and fractures begin to appear, will their dream team soon become a nightmare? The ladies soon realize they have to rely on themselves and each other if there’s any chance of winning this game.”

In the midseason trailer, Jennifer Williams reveals that she is still happy in her relationship with Jelani Harrison. When Williams, 47, joined the show in 2010, she was married to former NBA player Eric Williams. However, they got divorced.

Brittish Williams

Unlike Jennifer, the rest of her Basketball Wives cast mates are going through a lot of drama. Brittish Williams said in the trailer, “I am still facing fraud charges. I could go to jail.” Brittish was indicted by the government on federal charges. As per court documents obtained by Radar Online, the VH1 star was accused of misuse of a social security number, bank fraud, wire fraud, identity theft, and making false statements to the IRS.

Brooke Bailey got tearful while discussing her current family issues. She said in the trailer, “My husband broke our whole family apart.” Brooke married her husband, Ronnie Holland, in 2014, but in January 2022, she confirmed she was single, after rumors of a cheating scandal. Bailey wrote, “Wife sounds better than girlfriend but single sounds better than stupid. Yes. I’m single.” The couple have filed for divorce.

Aside from that, Brooke suffered the tragic loss of her 25-year-old daughter, Kayla Nicole Bailey. Bailey posted a photo of herself by her daughter’s grave in November last year.

She wrote, “I am fragile and broken, and have felt sadness and despair beyond what words can explain. My child is gone from this earth, and there is no pain as intense as what is in my broken heart.”

Jackie Christie

After the trailer dropped, fans questioned why Brooke was still there.

One tweeted, “I just assumed after everything Brooke has gone thru they would have just canceled this second half cause it don’t look like nothing to be honest.”

Another fan suggested that the second half of season 10 was filmed before Bailey’s daughter, unfortunately, passed away.

“These episodes were recorded before her daughter passed, I believe Jackie said,” the fan tweeted.

Another clip in the trailer shows a beachside proposal. In another scene, Jackie Christie gets into a confrontation. Jennifer Williams says, “Since you want the smoke I’m bringing all the fire.”

Fans of the VH1 show reacted to the trailer, and most were excited to have the reality show return and had a few ideas about the surprise proposal.

“I hope that’s Jen getting married. After how her last husband did her she deserves some happiness.”

Another said about Jen’s comments, “Last time Jen brought the ‘smoke’ or ‘receipts’, she got a table thrown at her in Europe.”

A third fan said about the show’s return, “It’s looking like messy Jen coming back since she finally got some d back in her life. I’m here for it tho.”
