Whoopi Goldberg Scolded By ‘The View’ Producers After Ignoring Orders

During a recent episode of The View, host Whoopi Goldberg ignored her producers when they told her to stop talking, and continued to express her point.

While the hosts of the daytime talk show were discussing President Joe Biden’s, classified documents scandal, they ended up in a heated discussion. Whoopi Goldberg, 67, couldn’t stop talking, even after the music began playing in the background.

After co-hosts Ana Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin gave their opinions on the matter, Whoopi said at the end of her lengthy rant while the music played — “I’m going to say this again. I think that it really will depend on what’s in those boxes because if, in fact, Presidents have the ability to declassify things, then you know, Obama said we dealt with this and we declassified.”

Whoopi continued, “The problem for me is I want us to wait and get all the information and know what we’re talking about, you know?”

As Whoopi continued talking, Sunny Hostin interrupted, “Who was in the room when the declassified documents … who said it was ok?”

Sarah Haines’ question pushed Goldberg to clarify her views on the Biden documents. “This is what I think. This is just me saying, [President] Joe didn’t say it. Whoopi said it.”

As she continued, the production team behind the scenes decided to cut down Whoopi’s talk time to avoid any inflammatory remarks from her.

Last year, Whoopi Goldberg was suspended for two weeks from The View after another heated argument about Jewish people and the Holocaust. During that show, Whoopi claimed the Holocaust wasn’t “about race” but “white on white” violence and “man’s inhumanity to man.”

In another interview, the Sister Act actress spoke about her views on the Holocaust.

“My best friend said, ‘Not for nothing is there no box on the census for the Jewish race. So that leads me to believe that we’re probably not a race.”

The interviewer pointed out that the Nazis saw Jews as a race. The View host replied, “Yes, but that’s the killer, isn’t it? The oppressor is telling you what you are. Why are you believing them? They’re Nazis. Why believe what they’re saying?”

After Whoopi was told the Nazis used to measure the heads and noses of Jews to prove they were a distinct race, Goldberg replied, “They did that to black people too. But it doesn’t change the fact that you could not tell a Jew on a street. You could find me. You couldn’t find them. That was the point I was making. But you would have thought that I’d taken a big old stinky dump on the table, butt naked.”

After Whoopi’s statements, many viewers asked the network to fire her from the show for being anti-Semitic.

One fan tweeted, “Whoopi Goldberg should’ve been FIRED for her remarks about Jews. In her mind, the Jews were not BLACK so, the inhumanities they suffered wasn’t about race. If that would have been, anyone on FOX dems would be building the gallows.”

Whoopi apologized for her comments, again.

“Recently, while doing press in London, I was asked about my comments from earlier this year. I tried to convey to the reporter what I had said and why and attempted to recount that time. It was never my intention to appear as if I was doubling down on hurtful comments, especially after talking with and hearing people like rabbis and old and new friends weighing in. I’m still learning a lot and believe me, I heard everything everyone said to me.”

Whoopi added, “I believe that the Holocaust was about race, and I am still as sorry now as I was then that I upset, hurt, and angered people. My sincere apologies again, especially to everyone who thought this was a fresh rehash of the subject. I promise it was not.”
