SPOILERS: ‘Married At First Sight’ Only 1 Couple Stayed Together . . . Find Out Who Split Up In Season 16!

Season 16 of Married At First Sight features ten Nashville, Tennessee based singles, who embark on a journey to meet the love of their lives where they’ll marry a complete stranger, travel to their honeymoons and then move in together as husband and wife.

After the 8-week social experiment concludes, each newlywed will have to come to terms with the hard truth of their marriage status and make a life-changing decision — continue to stay married and start a future together — or get a divorce and go their separate ways.

In season 16, there will be even more romance and intense stakes, including a shocking twist where one bride’s husband decides to make an indecent proposal to another man’s wife.

Domynique and Mackinley

Domynique, 25, is one of the younger Married At First Sight singles, who doesn’t have much experience in a serious relationship, like some of the other seasoned cast members.

Domynique is paired with Mackinley, 33, who got out of a bad relationship right before giving MAFS matchmakers a chance. Unfortunately, the show’s experts were not successful in finding him a love match in Domynique, and ultimately the couple decide not to stay together.

Gina and Clint

After a difficult breakup, Gina, 36, took a long hiatus from the dating scene before giving love another chance on the Lifetime reality series. Gina’s match Clint, 40, joined MAFS because he’s ready to settle down and start a family. The couple’s wedding day goes off without a hitch, however, it hasn’t been smooth sailing and eventually the two go their separate ways as the season concludes.

Jasmine and Airris

Jasmine, 31, admits she’s been unlucky in love and seeking to settle down — she’s paired with Airris, 39. Airris has a successful career and ready to start a family of his own as well. Despite their goals being aligned, Jasmine and Airris’ relationship got off to a rocky start. Airris seems to be use to one night stands and Jasmine’s baggage from previous relationships appears to be hindering the pair’s success. The couple argued on their honeymoon, and continued to fight throughout the season — in the end, they don’t go the distance.

Kristen and Shaquille

Kristen, 32, is the perfect wife — she has a successful career, very attractive, and a charming personality. Her match, 31-year-old Shaquille, is also career-driven, eager to find a wife and settle down. In preparation for marriage, Shaquille even attended therapy to get ready for the life-changing event. On paper, the couple appear to be the perfect match. While Shaquille is very much into his wife, the feelings are not reciprocated by Kristen, and in the end, they go their separate ways.

Christopher and Nicole

Nicole, 32, and Christopher, 36, put their faith in MAFS relationship experts and were blessed with a happy union. They are the only couple still standing on decision day.
