Gwendlyn Brown alleged that she witnessed Meri Brown becoming “violent” with her sister, Mykelti, on one occasion, following the abuse claims made against the Sister Wives star by her brother, Paedon.

The 21-year-old shared about her childhood and what it was like to be raised with Meri as a “sister wife” to her father, Kody, while answering fan questions via Patreon.

“[Meri] was scary as a kid but she never attacked me and I only saw her violent once,” Gwen, daughter of Kody and Christine Brown, said. “That was all a long time ago.”

Gwen went on to describe how Meri mixed with the Brown children during her unconventional upbringing.

Meri had moments where she was rude and scary but I don’t remember her getting physical with anyone except for Mykelti and that was only once. I believe that everyone deserves a second chance … I don’t know anything about saving anyone’s life, honestly. She was met with more dislike than anything.” Gwen explained.

Meri has yet to publicly address the abuse allegations. Meri and Kody recently confirmed that they were officially parting ways after a 33-year marriage. Meri took a break from social media after addressing the split but recently broke her silence to mark her 52nd birthday.

“Spent birthday #52 with a couple of my favorite people in the world. Many laughs, lots of good conversations, and tons of good food!” Meri, 52, wrote on Instagram, on January 16. “On days like these, I’m reminded again of the humanity of people with good and honest hearts, the friends who have your back and stand up for you, and general goodness in the world.”

Gwen previously took aim at Paedon after the National Guard graduate fired off his accusations against Kody’s first wife. She called her sibling the “most awful person” she’d ever known, via Patreon, and shared that she had experienced trauma due to the actions of her brother.

She claimed that she had forgiven Paedon on multiple occasions, but added that there was “no path for him back in my life at all, especially since he hasn’t changed at all.” She added that she was seeing a professional to deal with the trauma.

“He is still the sexist, homophobic, transphobic, racist, violent abuser that he always has been for several years,” Gwen continued. “He’s the most awful person I’ve ever had the displeasure of knowing and I would strongly advise against taking anything he says as fact. I would advise against giving him any kind of support even if you’re just watching the kind of content he puts out because it does encourage him to continue.”

Gwen added that she hoped to share more of her personal story at a later date.

Interestingly, Gwen actually expressed a fondness for Meri during a guest appearance on a pal’s TikTok video, in November.

“I think Meri is a sweetie. I try to be around her but she’s super-popular,” Gwen said.
