‘RHONJ’ Alum Jacqueline Laurita Calls Out Melissa Gorga For Manipulating Her Against Teresa Giudice
Real Housewives of New Jersey alum, Jacqueline Laurita, has stepped into the feud between Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga in a preseason twist no one saw coming.
On Sunday, the person behind Instagram account “lovelovelovegabriela” commented on one of Jacqueline’s Instagram posts, asking the former Bravo star if she believed that Melissa was “a liar.” Onlookers were surprised when Jacqueline actually offered a response — and seemingly defended Teresa. While Jacqueline did not take a firm side in the messy family feud, she did share her own experience with Melissa and her husband, Joe, and most fans were shocked by her remarks.
Fans watched as Jacqueline and Teresa’s friendship imploded on RHONJ before Teresa temporarily left the series to serve out a prison stint, in 2015.
Jacqueline is now claiming that Melissa was pulling the strings behind the scenes during her time on the show.
“lovelovelovegabriela” asked — “Not sure if u will answer this, shot in the dark, do u think Melissa is a liar?”
Jacqueline wrote — “Well, let’s just say that she was really good at lying while keeping a straight face and very good at manipulating people. The whole time, Melissa and Joe were in my ear manipulating me, telling me secrets about Teresa, things Teresa would say and do to them, and telling me things Teresa would say behind my back.”
“I did start to see a different side of Teresa once Melissa came around,” she added.
Most fans of the show would naturally expect Jacqueline to speak out against Teresa, but she appeared to do the exact opposite.
The friendly social media banter between Caroline Manzo and the Gorgas in August 2022 had also raised fan eyebrows, so “lovelovelovegabriela” decided to ask Jacqueline for her take on the matter.
Both Caroline and her daughter, Lauren, publicly gushed over the news that Melissa’s daughter, Antonia, had obtained her license.
“This was precious. Congratulations Antonia!” Caroline wrote.
“This made me cry.. I remember when she was Markies age. Congrats Antonia!” Lauren said.
Some viewed the online love-fest as a signal that the Manzo family had taken Melissa’s side following the family blowout that led to the Gorgas skipping Teresa’s wedding that same month.
Jacqueline weighed in on Caroline and Melissa’s relationship on Tuesday, January 17. She dropped a bomb when she claimed that Melissa used to refer to Caroline as too “old and boring” for reality TV.
The question read — “Any thoughts on Melissa’s friendship with Caroline Manzo?”
Jacqueline responded — “I think they are friendly acquaintances. Melissa always used to say that Caroline was too old and boring for the show. (She’s not). She must’ve heard the rumor that Caroline may be going back to the show. Probably trying to form her alliances. Who knows.”
