Kyle Richards Denies Using Diabetic Drug Ozempic For Weight Loss
Kyle Richards has shut down internet chatter that accused her of using Ozempic, a weight loss drug that’s been used to treat diabetes, to achieve her trimmer physique. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is in fighting shape for filming season and has not been shy about flaunting her bod on social media.
“I have never tried ozempic and this is not from plastic surgery,” the Bravo star commented under a post linked to a Page Six article on the outlet’s Instagram account.
Kyle previously admitted that she underwent breast reduction surgery in May, but implied that only hours in the gym could be credited for her fitter figure.
“I’m honest about what I do,” she quipped. “But if giving plastic surgery the credit makes you feel better then pop off sister.”
Kyle responded to another cynic who wasn’t buying that the Bravo star hadn’t popped the drug to give her fitness goals a boost.
She commented—“I am NOT taking Ozempic. Never have.”
Khloé Kardashian also had to correct a follower who accused the reality star of using the shortcut to drop pounds.
“Let’s not discredit my years of working out,” the Kardashians star fired back. “I get up 5 days a week at 6am to train.”
“Please stop with your assumptions,” Khloé added. “I guess new year still means mean people.”
Kim Kardashian was also rumored to have used the weight loss drug to squeeze into Marilyn Monroe’s dress. While the reality star has not addressed the rumors, comedian, Heather McDonald, called the supposed wife of Kim’s ex, Kanye West, Bianca Censori, as Kim “before Ozempic.”
This wasn’t the first time that fans called out Kyle for not keeping it real in her skimpy social media selfies. In June 2021, Kyle denied undergoing a tummy tuck after posting a bikini snap on Instagram. Fans sounded off on the post, with one advising the reality star to lay off the plastic surgery.
“I did do Em sculpt … [three] times. Not at a plastic surgeon office at [Nurse Jamiela] helps tighten your muscles but you must do ab work of course,” Kyle responded, before reiterating to a second fan that she “did NOT have one.”
“I did not have a tummy tuck,” Kyle explained, at the time. “If I did I would be happy to share. I have been doing 15 minutes of ab work every day on top of my regular workout. I had to get in shape before wearing a bathing suit on camera in Turks and Caicos.”
Kyle and co-stars, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Garcelle Beauvais, and Sutton Stracke are all expected to return to RHOBH Season 13, which will begin production, later this month. Kyle’s sister, Kathy Hilton’s status remains unclear, and Lisa Rinna and Diana Jenkins have both confirmed that they will not return for Season 13.
