Jenna Bush Hager BLASTED For Being Rude To Guest
Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb hosted the Property Brothers, Johnathan and Drew Scott.
In a clip posted to Today with Hoda & Jenna’s Instagram page, Jonathan was asked a few intimate questions about his relationship with actress Zoey Deschanel.
“Who in the relationship makes the decisions?” Hoda asked. After the question, chaos ensued in the studio as both Hoda and Jenna talked over Johnathan when he tried to answer the question.
Jonathan began,” It depends what it’s for.”
His brother interrupted, “Food related? Definitely Zoe.”
Jonathan added, “Yeah, Zoe, she is an incredible cook. I’m a logistics guy.”
Before he could finish, Jenna interrupted and asked, “Music?”
Jonathan jokingly replied, “But she is also a professional musician. What do I even do in this relationship?”
Hoda joked, “Hey, change that lightbulb.” Jonathan continued, “You need a toilet fixed, or a lightbulb changed. Hey, I’m your person!”
Kotb finished the segment by saying, “What a really sweet couple though. That’s gotta be fun.”
It must have been fun for the hosts to have the Property Brothers on their show, but fans in the comment section didn’t like that Jenna was talking over Johnathan the entire time.
One person said in the comment section, “And ofcourse Jenna talks over, Music! Music!!! Please let your guest anser a ? Seriously has to stop.”
Another said, “Ask a question and then don’t let them answer by always talking over them! So over it already! So annoying!”
A fourth viewer came after the host’s interview techniques.
“This this is the d**n interview techniques that cause me to NOT watch Hoda and Jenna. Can we please, please please stop this technique? It’s so annoying!!!!! They get a guest on there [sic] or they show products and they race through them so fast you can’t even understand it or watch it; just please take your time with people and quit having to constantly talk over and around and above and under your guests.”
Another critic said, “The constantly talking over each other is distracting and making us tune out!”
One fan came after Jenna for her attitude on the show.
“Why is Jenna so mean towards Hoda? Always throwing her under the bus whenever she gets a chance. Hoda is so sweet. When is Jenna leaving? She is so annoying.”
TODAY fans have come after Jenna Bush Hager for interrupting Hoda during their interviews. In October 2022, Jenna and Hoda discussed how it was almost Christmas despite it being mid-October. Jenna shouted, “Y’all, it’s almost Christmas because we’re in the middle of October.”
Hoda tried to respond, but her co-host continued, “I know we have Thanksgiving to get to.” Kotb added, “I agree, no I agree… well, you know why.” But Jenna continued shouting, “It’s gotten out of control.”
One viewer came after Jenna saying, “@HodaAndJenna love you both, just a suggestion or 3 for Jenna. Try to stop yelling when speaking, stop talking over guests and Hoda, and stop looking off-camera at producers or the monitor. You are doing great. Just trying to help.”
Another viewer said, “@HodaAndJenna, I am no longer watching your show as I am tired of Jenna interrupting Hoda and guests.”
In the same month, fans came after Hoda and Jenna for talking over each other during their segments. During an episode of TODAY with Jenna & Hoda, the hosts dressed in 80s attire and played a throwback trivia game.
While playing the game, they laughed and yelled over each other to the disgust of viewers.
One viewer said, “Buzz in; stop talking. Guess; stop talking. Wait for Donna! And Jenna – shouting the wrong answer repeatedly will not make it correct.”
