Heavenly Kimes Breaks Her Silence On Phaedra Parks Joining Married To Medicine
Phaedra Parks is set to join the cast of Married To Medicine for season 10, and Heavenly Kimes has some thoughts on the latest cast addition.
Phaedra Parks’ return to Bravo was confirmed by blogger Carlos King, who spilled that the Atlanta attorney was also approached by Real Housewives of Atlanta producers to rejoin that cast since her departure in season 9.
The former RHOA star’s exit occurred after she was accused of spreading inflammatory rumors that Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker planned to drug costar Porsha Williams in order to take advantage of her sexually.
As reported, Phaedra is dating an Atlanta based doctor. During BravoCon in October 2022, Phaedra appeared on a panel alongside Married To Medicine stars, Dr. Jackie Walters, Dr. Simone Whitmore, Anila Sajja, and RHOA’s Drew Sidora. Phaedra dished about her romantic involvement with a doctor during the panel discussion.
“I’m actually dating a doctor,” she revealed. “I don’t want to tell you about him but I’ve actually dated him for about a year.”
Phaedra added that her new man has met her sons that she shares with ex, Apollo Nida — Ayden, 12 and Dylan, 9.
“They have, and they love him,” she revealed.
After news broke of Phaedra’s reality TV comeback, Married To Medicine star Heavenly Kimes shared her thoughts after someone on Twitter user wrote, “I’m not going to lie at first I was like Phaedra on #marriedtomedicine #M2M. I don’t know, but after watching @DJRichieSkye Instagram post. I have changed my mind because can you imagine @PhaedraParks, @Dr_Heavenly, and @AbsolutelyQuad on the show together baby I’m here for it!!!”
Heavenly responded with, “It will be pure comedy!😊😊😂😂😂”
Phaedra will likely join the tenth season as a “friend of,” to Quad Webb since the two are besties. The ladies met through Quad’s ex-husband, Dr. Gregory Lunceford, who dated the attorney many moons ago.
Phaedra previously appeared on Married To Medicine in season four. In the scene, Quad visits Phaedra’s Buckhead law office for legal advice after a blowout fight with her co-star, Lisa Nicole Cloud, that turned physical and resulted in Quad’s face being cut. That fight was a bloody mess with glass being thrown and dual police reports filed.
Quad and Lisa Nicole’s physical smackdown happened after the ladies revealed personal information on each other after previously conducing background checks.
According to Quad, she discovered that Lisa Nicole was charged with battery after allegedly attacking her husband, Darren Naugles. Quad also claims that Darren cheated on Lisa and fathered a child. And Lisa revealed Quad engaged in a lesbian affair behind her husband’s back.
Quad and Dr. Gregory finalized their divorce in October 2019, she’s been single since and the psychiatrist got engaged to his girlfriend in September 2022.
As reported, Bravo fans are super excited about Phaedra Parks joining the cast of Married To Medicine, since the reality series has not been the same since Mariah Huq’s departure. Ratings have been on a steady decline and the current cast aren’t delivering like they did historically.
Season 10 will begin filming in 2023.
