Gizelle Bryant opened up about Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Potomac and gave the inside scoop on where she stands with co-stars, Dr. Wendy Osefo and Candiace Dillard Bassett, in an interview with TODAY.com.

Gizelle stars alongside Candiace, Wendy, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, and Mia Thornton, along with friends, Charisse Jackson-Jordan and Jacqueline Blake.

The reality star addressed the drama that’s unfolded this season and teased about what’s to come as Season 7 rolls on.

Fans know that Gizelle and Wendy clashed during Season 6 after Gizelle dropped rumors that implied that Wendy’s husband had been unfaithful.  Wendy accused Gizelle of taking aim at multiple marriages in an October interview with TODAY.com.

Wendy said—“(Bryant) literally (has) gone down the list of everyone’s marriage and has attacked them. I did not pay any attention to the allegations because the source in itself wasn’t credible.”

Gizelle responded to the claim, telling the outlet—“I don’t find that to be true.”

She went on—“When it came to Wendy and whatever happened in Season Six, Wendy and I talked and she was really upset about all the stuff that was said about her on social media having to do with her husband and other things. That’s what that conversation was about.”

Gizelle explained—“She took it and ran with it in the opposite direction. For me, it just speaks to just the kind of person she is. I always want to be able to have conversations with women, and she’s just unable to do that. So I’m just no longer interested. That’s why when she came to me, in the beginning of the season, I just was like, ‘yeah, no, and goodbye.’”

Gizelle also landed in hot water with Candiace Dillard Bassett, after she shared that Candiace‘s husband, Chris, had made her uncomfortable during the taping of the Season 6 reunion. Both Candiace and Chris denied any inappropriate behavior, but the issue created a rift between the co-stars.  Gizelle confirmed that she had no regrets about telling Candiace about the incident with her husband.

The Bravo star said—“Because I know Candiace is very sensitive, and she can be a bit dramatic, I was very careful to choose my words carefully with her. At that time, she and I were friends. So I wasn’t going to say anything that was going to be super inflammatory and hurt her, but she took it to a whole other level of nonsense.”

Gizelle then accused Candiace of playing a perpetual victim.

She said—“Candiace wants to always be a victim. We’re no longer friends, so I don’t feel like I need to hold back anything anymore. What happened happened, and it was unfortunate, and no one’s going to tell me how to feel in a situation like that.”

Candiace Dillard-Bassett

Candiace has made nasty comments about Gizelle’s appearance several times this season, but Gizelle seemingly shrugged off the remarks.

“I think that she has taken the position of, ‘Oh, I’m just going to deflect, I’m going to speak about Gizelle and try to trash Gizelle,’ as opposed to talking to your husband. Like why would your husband even do that? Let’s start there,” the RHOP star said.

“Of course, you know, she wants to create a story,” she added. “This could have died because it was a simple conversation, but she wants to create a story. She wanted to carry this out throughout the season. She wanted to take all this to ‘Girls Trip,’ which she did. It’s just exhausting to me a little bit.”

Candiace Dillard

Gizelle clarified that she and Candiace “came to a good place at the end of the season for Potomac,” but that shifted after Candiace revived the beef as the pair filmed the third cycle of The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, in July.

Gizelle quipped—“Clearly she has nothing else going on. Girl, don’t you need to sing a song, don’t you need to make a record? Go do that.”

Gizelle also dished on what’s to come as the season winds down.

“It’s fire, I think you’re going to absolutely love it,” she said about what’s ahead.

Ashley Darby

Gizelle called Ashley Darby the MVP of Season 7, commenting—“Ashley was a lot. She was all over the place. She was doing the most. It was a couple of things she was doing, I’m like, ‘What are you doing girl? Sit down!”

The Real Housewives of Potomac airs on Sundays at 8 pm, ET, on Bravo.
