The View’s Ana Navarro Issues A Warning To Sara Haines

The View host, Ana Navarro, had to set some boundaries during a recent episode after Sara Haines bumped into Joy Behar during the show.

While talking about what public behaviors drive them crazy on Friday’s episode, co-host Sara Haines explained her biggest pet peeve. Haines complained about other people standing in crowded places which inconveniences others.

“You need to move to the side, you need to motion. You need to realize there are two traffics going both ways. I can’t stand it,” she said. Sara continued, “And do you know what I do?” she said while standing up. Haines then walked over to Joy Behar and bumped her stomach while explaining, “I don’t like confrontation so I won’t say something to someone but if I see you walking right at me and you’re not looking I will purposely bump into you, and go ‘Oh!’”

Joy was shocked at the encounter but laughed it off. However, Ana Navarro wasn’t amused. She said, “Please don’t bump her like that, she’s fallen off of chairs before.” Last year in March, Joy shockingly fell off her chair while they were filming The View which pushed them to have the hosts sitting on chairs with backs.

Sara wasn’t the only person Ana snapped at while celebrating her day on the show. While talking about her birthday, which was on December 28, the host shared what she did to celebrate her special day. Ana explained that she went to her favorite drag brunch in Miami.

“I took my 82-year-old father who ended up dancing the conga and all. It was a wonderful time,” Ana said. The political strategist also revealed that the next day she and friend Gloria Estefan went to play pickleball and then “drank and sang and partied at home like it was 1999.” Joy interrupted her co-star with a question, “How many?” Sara guessed, “A lot of margaritas.” Then Joy repeated, “How many?”

An annoyed Ana Navarro replied, “Many, and I don’t like the judgmental tone.” But Behar defended herself, “I’m not judging, I was just asking because we all know you love a margarita!” Navarro responded dryly, “And a tequila and a Rosé.”

The 80-year-old host said, “Okay,” as the rest tried to laugh off the awkward exchange. Joy then signaled to the cameras for everyone to see a few of Ana’s celebrity friends who had wished her a Happy Birthday, including Mitt Romney, Billy Porter, Gloria & Emilio Estefan, and Fat Joe. The View fans also came after Joy for being rude during Ana’s 51st birthday celebration.

The show celebrated the host’s birthday by bringing out food from her native country, Nicaragua. When the dishes arrived, Joy asked a series of questions before eating the food which many viewers felt was rude.

She asked, “What is this potato thing?” Ana answered, “It’s a tortilla.” Behar continued to ask, “Is it supposed to be cold? Cause it’s cold!”

Sunny Hostin answered her co-host before Ana Navarro could and said, “Yes it’s supposed to be cold!” One fan called out Joy saying, “Joy has no culture or couth.”

Joy kinda asking about the food like that earlier. ‘What is this? Is it supposed to be cold?’ etc. #TheView,” another fan said.

A third fan called her “uncultured.” One more added about the comedian, “Joy has a huge appetite for attention and has no manners…..she thinks she is funny or cute or something but is very rude!”

Despite many fans calling out Joy, most comments from Friday’s episode were filled with well-wishes for Ana Navarro on her birthday.
