Erika Jayne Kissing Up To Kathy Hilton After Lisa Rinna Was Fired
Erika Jayne believes that Lisa Rinna belongs in the Bravo record books as the greatest “Real Housewife” of all time. Rinna confirmed last week that she would not be returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 13.
TMZ caught up with Erika while she was out shopping Friday, and asked the Pretty Mess personality about Rinna’s exit and who she believed could “fill those shoes.”
“They can’t,” the 51-year-old reality star said. “She’s the GOAT. She’s the f–king GOAT.”
Erika confirmed that the duo would remain close friends and addressed how the show would look without her closest ally.
“I’m going to miss Lisa very much,” she said. “I mean, obviously, I think she’s a very close friend of mine in my personal life, so you know, I will still see her, but she will be missed and I think everyone will feel it.”
The outlet asked Erika if Lisa Vanderpump, who clashed with Rinna before leaving the show, should make a RHOBH comeback.
“She’s a coward that ran away and couldn’t show up for the reunion and, so, I don’t think that’s a good fit,” Erika replied.
Erika spoke about Kathy Hilton, who threatened during the offseason not to return if Rinna and Erika were in the mix. Erika shared that she respected the cast “friend” for returning to the series, despite their contentious history.
Rinna appeared on RHOBH for eight seasons.
“This is the longest job I have held in my 35-year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series,” Rinna, 59, told People, on Thursday.
“It has been a fun, eight-year run and I am excited for what is to come!”
Rinna has been criticized in recent years for steadfastly defending Erika amid her co-star’s legal issues, after aiming harsh criticism at various past cast members over seemingly more trivial offenses.
Several past and present RHOBH cast members were not sorry to hear that the network had parted ways with the Rinna Beauty founder.
On Thursday, Lisa Vanderpump, 62, fired off a subtle “ding dong” on Twitter, and on Friday, Garcelle Beauvais shadily posted a video set against Elton John’s hit “I’m Still Standing.”
“New year New me! #stillstanding #newlook #newvibe,” Garcelle, 56, captioned the video clip, rocking a new red hairstyle.
One fan guessed—“Can’t help but think the song choice is a little dig to a certain costar that was just fired.”
Another quipped—“We know who NOT still standing 😍😂.”
Bravo executive and Watch What Happens Live host, Andy Cohen, gave props to Rinna for her “iconic run” via his Instagram Story, where he posted a graphic collage of Rinna’s messiest moments.
