Teresa Giudice Accused of Wearing Knockoff Chanel Bikini
Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Teresa Giudice, has been accused of rocking a knockoff Chanel bikini on Instagram while soaking in the sun in Tulum, Mexico. The photo comes only a week after the reality star’s husband, Luis Ruelas, was called out for gifting her four daughters expensive bracelets that many fans believed were fakes.
The 50-year-old Bravo star posed by the pool in the black two-piece, which had the brand’s signature interlocking Cs, stitched in white on the top.
People sounded off on social media about the sexy snap, calling out the designer logo stitched on the suit.
“We love alleged designer inspired swimwear here!” Instagram account, The Real Bad Fashions, captioned side-by-side images of Teresa’s suit and photos of the real deal.
The account’s creator Ben T. added — “Also, before I hear ‘it has a tag’💤💤💤….you really think that if someone can allegedly copy a design, the same can’t happen to a tag? It’s 2023 babes, not 1923.”
Ben T. used photos of the high-end bathing suit grabbed from Poshmark to prove his theory. Lots of followers agreed that Teresa’s bikini did not pass the designer test.
“Does Chanel even make cheap bikinis like this? I highly doubt it,” one person wrote.
Another jabbed—“She ironed on that CC herself.”
A fan noted—“Omg the Cs look so bad!!”
Another asked—“I don’t understand, these women have money but why do they buy fakes?!”
Shoppers can purchase a Chanel bikini on Poshmark for $229, but the website won’t guarantee an item is the real deal if it costs under $500. Some suits are listed for up to four figures on the same shopping site.
Teresa’s 16-year-old daughter, Milania, recently deleted a TikTok video of herself flaunting a diamond-studded Juste Un Clou Cartier bracelet, gifted to her by her stepfather, after being hit with lots of public skepticism.
“Luis always goes big, and last year he also got us a Cartier bracelet,” Milania said, showing off a $6,900 Cartier Love Bracelet, which he gifted to all four Giudice girls in 2021.
“This year he, again, got us — me and my three sisters — this one,” she told her followers.
“Thank you so much, Luis, you’re literally the best ever,” she gushed.
Lots of fans and followers weren’t sold on Luis’ lavish Christmas gift after the “Real Bad Fashions” Instagram account posted side-by-side comparisons. Fans accused Luis of trying to pass off knock-off jewelry to his new stepdaughters in the post’s comment section.
One user pointed out—“These types of grand gesture gifts from the new husband, fake or not give me creepy vibes.”
Another said — “Omg. I have a Cartier box and even the box is ultra-lux. Teresa’s dorter’s box looks cheap and fake.”
