Naturally, Jazz’s mother is terrified for her child’s safety while she’s attending college so far away.

“This is exactly what we’ve been afraid of,” Jeanette says in the preview below. “This is different. There’s a person out there that knows where she lives. I’m absolutely terrified because there’s no timeline on a death threat.”

In the clip, the threat to Jazz’s life seems to escalate as she leads a group of fellow transgender activists across campus, chanting, “We’ve got the power!” while wearing a rainbow heart sweater and the transgender flag as a cape.

“I just need to get over there,” Jeanette says while on campus watching her daughter protest, at the same time the camera pans to campus security on hand.

However, the I Am Jazz star’s anxiety is through the roof, which Jazz describes as just “takes over.”

After the season 8 trailer dropped, I Am Jazz fans reacted to the 22-year-old’s struggles.

One person wrote, “The mother, the doctors and tlc producers should be in jail for what they have done to this child.” Another wrote, “I think she’s taking on too much on her plate and I think she should just quit the TV show and work on herself and go to therapy and take a break from the media.”

Someone else commented, “What happens to her when the show ends? When the world is no longer watching her thru all the messages. She will definitely slip into a terrible depression. She has only known to be followed by cameras all thru her life. And once that’s gone, how will she feel? There’s a lot of baggage there left, after the show ends. Its sad.”

Another person shared, “Jazz seems like a lovely young woman with a lot of mental health issues. These issues do not seem to be helped by appearing on tv.”

A fan commented, “Can’t wait for another amazing season!”

“Idk I like jazz, but I think something is really wrong with her. I think her parents have been exploiting her since she was a child and it’s all catching up to her. To have mental health problems this bad and still haven’t been properly dealt with. Idk I don’t know something is not right.” Someone pointed out.
