‘Fox Force Five’ Decimated Over Kyle’s Involvement In Kathy Hilton’s ‘RHOBH’ Take Down
Teddi Mellencamp answered burning fan questions during a chat session with her followers, via her Instagram Story, last week, regarding the now-defunct ‘Fox Force Five’ alliance.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ‘Fox Force Five’ alliance consists of Teddi Mellencamp, Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, and Lisa Rinna.
The ladies named their tight alliance after a group of female assassins from Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 film, Pulp Fiction. However, after season 12’s blowout feud between Kathy Hilton, Lisa Rinna, and Erika Jayne exploded — Kyle Richards’ treachery towards her sister Kathy became glaringly obvious, and the ‘Fox Force Five’ group text (that contains a bounty of receipts implicating Kyle) became inactive.
Teddi Mellencamp dished an update on the text message chain between the ‘Fox Force Five, aka Teddi, Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, and Lisa Rinna. Teddi also spoke about Brandi Glanville’s rumored RHOBH comeback and Bethenny Frankel’s new “Housewives” themed podcast, “ReWives.”
Teddi begged for a name change after she was asked to dish a text chain update.
“Can we please stop saying Fox Force Five? Please? A new name? Anything,” Teddi asked, on December 30.
“I talk to all of the individuals that are on that text separately but the group chat has not been activated,” Teddi shared. “I don’t think we’ve had any group texting.”
One fan asked the “Two Ts In a Pod” podcaster if she would ever consider writing a book.
“I was approached about doing this a couple years back and I started the process and I realized that just because I’m an open book does not mean that everyone in my family is an open book,” she explained. “I wouldn’t wanna write one that was filled with fluff or BS so at this point in time, the answer’s [no]. I try to be as transparent as I can about my life and what I can share with you guys but having it in writing about some of my family members, I don’t know.”
Another follower asked—“Who would you like to have on the [podcast] that has turned you down?”
“I don’t know if she’s turned us down or she just had to wait till after the reunion but she did unfollow us … But I really want to get to the bottom of Heather Gay’s black eye so I would like to have her on, sooner rather than later,” Teddi said of the controversy surrounding the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star.
Teddi added—“I’m gonna tag her right now. Heather, send me a DM. I know you’re annoyed but there’s some things you did this year that were annoying that we had to talk about but maybe next year could be better.”
The podcaster quipped—“You’re only as good as last week’s episode.”
Teddi also dished an update on where she stood with former co-star, Sutton Stracke. Teddi and Sutton clashed during their time together on the show but later made amends.
“Sutton hasn’t invited me to lunch in a while,” Teddi revealed. “For a while there, we had the communication. I think the pod made it a little tricky but the last time she was on the pod, she was like, ‘You know, we like each other. We just like to tease each other.’ That being said, I haven’t gotten any recent invitations to anything.”
“Are you too booked up with Denise, Sutton?” Teddi snarked, referring to Sutton and Denise Richards’ recent outings, which were shared on social media.
Teddi confirmed that she was on board with Brandi’s potential return.
“I don’t think anyone knows anything yet but I think she’d be great. Are you kidding? She’s such good TV, she’s always willing to bring it and she doesn’t take herself too seriously, which [are] signs of a good housewife,” Teddi said.
Teddi also suggested that because Lisa Rinna was willing to get down and dirty, she deserved a spot on the RHOBH cast.
“I think it’s very hard to have a television show if no one is willing to stir it and get their hands dirty. If everyone wants to give the illusion of perfection, how are you ultimately gonna have a show?” she asked. “I love my Housewives messy and Rinna has good years and she has not so good years but I’m excited to see what happens.”
Teddi was asked how she would compare and contrast the podcast she co-hosts with RHOC star, Tamra Judge, and Bethenny’s new podcast.
“I think it’s different because she talks to celebrities who don’t really know much about the show and they give their takes on rewatching an episode,” Teddi replied, noting that she had not listened to the RHONY alum’s podcast. “I think Bethenny is great. There’s room for everybody but it’s a completely different podcast. We watch every single episode. We are living and breathing it and pretending we are part of the action.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to begin production January 2023.
