Jen Shah’s Online Shenanigans Backfires … She’s Going To Prison For 14 Years To Become Someone’s GF

Jen Shah is her own worst enemy and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star’s online shenanigans have backfired and will send her to prison for 14 years to become someone’s girlfriend.

Unfortunately for Jen Shah, 49, the judge will throw the book at her when she’s sentenced on January 6, 2023, in the federal court, according to a scathing sentencing memorandum.

Jen Shah and her assistant, Stuart Smith were arrested on March 30, 2021, while Bravo cameras rolled. They were both charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering.

Despite pleading guilty on July 11, 2022, to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with a telemarketing scheme, Jen’s post arrest antics pissed off the feds. In the sentencing memorandum submitted to the court on December 23, 2022, federal prosecutors stated, “After her arrest, the defendant went on a public offensive against the charges in this case. She repeatedly, vehemently, and falsely proclaimed her innocence — for example, stating “I am innocent. I did not do any of those things.”— and she told the public that she was going to “fight” the charges not just for her own sake, but for a purported greater good.”

In one interview, the reality diva stated: “I’m fighting this, I’m innocent. I will fight this for every person out there that can’t fight for themselves because they don’t have the resources or the means, so they don’t fight.”

In another public appearance Jen Shah commented: “I will fight because number one, I’m innocent, and number two I’m going to f***ing represent every other person out there that can’t fight and hasn’t been able to. I just hope we can do better in the future and not judge people.”

In a Newsweek article dated Sept. 28, 2022, federal prosecutors detailed how Jen seemingly mocked “the charges in this case, also claimed that ‘the only thing I’m guilty of is being Shah-mazing.'”

The government also pointed out, “the defendant attempted to profit off the charges in this case by selling ‘a range of apparel to promote her innocence,'” before she pled guilty in July 2023.

The merch included, “Justice for Jen Shah” t-shirts that featured “NOT GUILTY” on the front and “# justiceforjenshah” on the back.

Federal prosecutors are requesting The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star be sentenced to 120 months (10 years) in prison. However, Jen Shah’s fate will ultimately be decided by U.S. District Judge Sidney Stein, who will take into consideration many factors: victim impact, Jen mocking the judicial system and federal sentencing guidelines. She’s facing anywhere up to 14 years in federal prison.

Jen Shah’s sentencing is scheduled on January 6, 2023.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Wednesday nights, at 8pm ET, on Bravo.
