It appears that things are looking up for 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? couple, Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh. The current season documented Sumit’s family formally disowning their son amid a disagreement over his marriage — but Jenny and Sumit seemingly celebrated Christmas with Sumit’s brother and his wife.

A photo slideshow shared on the duo’s joint Instagram account featured Amit and his wife, who have both appeared on the TLC series, celebrating the holiday alongside Sumit, 32, and Jenny, 61.

“Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas ❤️💚. See you next year 😉🥳🥳🥳🍹🥃 2023 😁,” Jenny and Sumit captioned the video.

There was no evidence that Sumit’s parents joined the party, but other family members, including children, were spotted in the footage. Fans are now wondering if Jenny and Sumit have been formally welcomed back into the family.

One person wrote—“Wait?!?!?! Everyone was together?!?! Sumit’s family?!?That’s the Christmas miracle we all want.”

Another added—“Glad to see some of Sumit’s family coming around! ❤️ Hopefully you were also able to see some of your family for the holidays Jenny! 💚

The current season of the 90 Day spinoff series featured Sumit’s parents flatly rejecting his marriage, despite the couple’s ten-year relationship. Jenny moved to India to marry her fiancé and begin a new life together but later contemplated moving back to America after being ostracized by Sumit’s family. Sumit’s parents strongly advised their son to dump Jenny for a younger wife who could give him children, after being blindsided by the pair’s marriage announcement. Sumit and his mother have not appeared in a scene together since. Sumit’s father later participated in a separate family meeting, which included Jenny’s daughter, but only reiterated that the only way his son would be welcomed back to the fold was if he ended his marriage.

Amit asked pertinent questions during several family discussions—but ultimately stayed loyal to his parents. He and his brother are seemingly on solid ground, according to the happy holiday video.

In an episode that aired earlier this month, Sumit dropped a bomb when he revealed that he would like to have children in the future — despite previously agreeing that kids were not a part of his future with Jenny.

He told his wife—“I will be 35 by two years and maybe I’ll start thinking about having kids. We might adopt someone by 35. Then, I want to have them in India.”

“What the f—?” Jenny told cameras.

She went on — “First of all, we’ve talked about this since we met over 10 years ago that this can’t happen. It’s been understood this whole entire time. So how come all of a sudden now when he wants to have a kid when it was never — I mean, I’m shocked.”

“If you want to have kids why did you marry me?” Jenny asked her husband.

Sumit explained his change of heart—“When I think about family, and my parents, and how to just make them happy, how to win their love back and everything — they said, like, ‘You cannot have kids.’ Because if I have a kid, then, might be they will be happy. ‘Okay, now you have somebody to take care of you.’”
