Teresa Guidice Helping Ex Joe Guidice Reverse His Deportation and Return To US
Teresa Guidice is helping her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, with his renewed fight to reverse his deportation and return to the United States.
In a recent episode of her podcast, Namaste B$tches, Teresa Guidice explained why she wants Joe Guidice to return to the USA.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star and her ex, Joe Guidice, were indicted on 39 fraud and tax charges in 2013. After Joe served his 41-month prison sentence, he was deported back to his home country of Italy. Due to his status, Joe can’t legally return to the United States to see his children and only gets to see them in person when they fly to his home in the Bahamas.
He initially went to the Bahamas for a celebrity boxing match, and he ended up deciding to move there full-time in 2021. Joe appeared on his ex-wife’s podcast, Namaste B$tches, to share why his new home is “made” for him and to reveal what he’s doing in his career now.
“It’s so close to the States… I have a future here,” Joe told co-hosts Teresa and Melissa Pfeister. He noted that his four daughters can easily visit him for short trips as well.
During the December 21 episode of her podcast, Teresa said that she is working on getting Joe back in the country with Luis’ help. The Bravo star said that her husband wrote a letter to help with the entire process since he sees Joe “as a dad” who deserves to be with his kids. Teresa also said that Luis agreed to pick up the paperwork from the immigration attorney. Teresa and her ex share daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana, and she thinks he should come back for them.
“We want him to come back for our daughters,” Teresa said. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star explained that it’s not easy raising four young women, even with Ruelas’s help. “For the girls … Even me. It’s hard, I’m doing it all by myself, and then sometimes when I ask Luis to help, poor guy, [it’s] like he doesn’t want to … say anything to the girls cause, you know, he’s like, ‘I don’t want them to say to me, like, you’re not my dad’ or something like that.”
Teresa and Joe split in 2019 but finalized their divorce in 2020. Teresa had taken the girls to see their father in November 2019 for the first time since he was deported a month before they announced their split.
An insider told Us Weekly, “Teresa and Joe talked about their future when she and the girls were in Italy and decided it was best. Neither of them wanted to be in a long-distance relationship. They harbor no ill will toward each other and will continue to co-parent their kids.”
