Tamar Braxton Rushed To Hospital Over Life Threatening Medical Issue
Tamar Braxton was rushed to the emergency room over Christmas after experiencing a life-threatening medical issue.
Tamar Braxton, 45, took to her Instagram and said that she wasn’t letting everyone know about her ordeal for attention, but to bring awareness to the flu going around. Tamar posted several photos with her friends and captioned them, “I was with my best friends … shopping and doing Christmas fun sht and the VERY NEXT DAY I had to be taken to the hospital by AMBULANCE, needed oxygen cause I thought God was taking me home cause I could not breathe and my chest was on FIRE.”
Tamar Braxton explained that she was taken to the Northside Hospital where she was met with the kindest nurses and doctors who told her she had the flu. “Y’all I have the flu and it is worse than COVID in my opinion. I’m on 5 different medications please be careful. I wasn’t around a lot of people and have no idea where it came from.” Tamar urged her fans to celebrate Christmas at home instead of going out. “Yeah you don’t want this. I’m completely isolated cause it’s hella contagious!”

Fans sent their best wishes to Tamar in the comments and said they would pray for her quick recovery. Adrienne Bailon told the singer, “Praying for a quick recovery. Love you!” Other people called out Tamar for going to the mall which is often crowded during the holidays.
“You weren’t around a lot of people but you were around and about at the mall and restaurants. That’s how people catch it. It came from public spaces with lots of people not wearing masks. How do people still not understand this?”
According to health experts, a tripledemic of COVID-flu and RSV has been spreading during the past weeks. To help reduce infections, people have been urged to go back to wearing masks when they are in public spaces. Before getting the flu, Tamar Braxton was part of the R&B Experience Tour this year alongside other famous performers like Monica, Ginuwine, Keith Sweat, and Tevin Campbell.
Tamar wrote on her Instagram page, “I’ve been apart of the #r&bexperience 2 months after my sister passed. It has been the most, healing, amazing, beautiful family setting in my entire touring career. Not to mention all the cities we sold out, reminded me that this was my element.”
