‘1000-LB Sisters’ Amy Slaton Shows Off New ‘Skinny’ Face . . . She’s Unrecognizable

1000-lb Sisters star Amy Slaton looked totally unrecognizable in a series of photos she posted on Instagram recently, leaving many onlookers baffled.

Amy Slaton’s bombshell selfies gave her plump lips, voluptuous hair, and a skinny face. She captioned the pics, “Snapchat filters.”

The TLC star showed off the different look to her fans and they loved it. In other photos, Amy, 35, posted she and her son Glenn with a cartoon filter that gave them cat eyes. The next set of photos were of Amy with a beautiful crown filter and bunny ears.

Fans responded to the set of photos in Amy Slaton’s comment section with mixed reviews.

One person wrote, “You look like a Bratz doll and Disney princess in the first couple I love it you are just gorgeous and so is Tammy.”

Another person commented, “Oh my gosh you look amazing! both beautiful with and without filters.”

A third fan stated, “Love that look with the longer hair.” A fourth person also mentioned Amy’s youngest son. “Omg Glenn is growing up. So cute…”

On the flip side, critics slammed the TLC star for catfishing the public. Someone noted, “That’s not a filter, that’s a whole different person lol.”

Another commented, “Stop catfishing your fans, you look nothing like this in real life.”

One fan pointed out, “Who is this person? This is false advertising.”

Things have also changed for Amy, who expanded her brood with husband Michael Halterman, two years after they welcomed son, Gage. The reality star gave birth to son Glenn Allen Halterman in July 2022, later adding that their ‘family is complete.’

After having her youngest son, Glenn with husband Michael Halterman, the reality star had a mommy makeover. When she posted her first photos with her newborn, Amy debuted her bright purple hair. At the time fans flooded her comment section with congratulations to the mother of two. Besides her recent selfies, Amy Slaton has been posting a lot of Elf on a Shelf posts. The Elf is often found by kids in the morning during the Christmas season after it has had a night of adventure.

One of Amy’s recent posts was of the elf getting stuck on Glenn’s mobile on Day 13. The reality star’s son Gage woke up to find the elf hanging above Glenn’s head and smiling mischievously. From the photo some fans pointed out that Glenn’s camera cord and tape are dangerously close to where he sleeps.

A concerned observer noted, “That tape and the cord for the camera are dangerously close to where he sleeps and can be choking/wrapping hazards. Mounting the camera up on the wall should just take a couple of quick screws and would be much safer.”

Another fan pointed out, “Glenn is all over the house, fun. Amy, Yes cords are dangerous.” While others said Amy Slaton should be allowed to raise her children how she sees fit. Someone else defended Amy’s parenting, “Wow people need to stop attacking how she raises or takes care of her kids every single time she posts way too many people attack her on her mothering.”

Amy underwent gastric bypass surgery. Just one week after this major surgery, she went off her diet. Dr. Procter was less than pleased.

“I’m very disappointed that a week after a gastric bypass — where you’ve got part of your body just sewn together and held together by sutures — you would go ahead and have a bite of solid food. You knew better than that,” Dr. Procter scolded. And while she may have been whipped back into shape this time around, Amy isn’t too great at following the doc’s instructions.

1000-lb Sisters returns for season 4, on January 17, 2023, on TLC.
