Meri Brown continues to post cryptic notes about her life in the wake of her confirmed breakup from Kody Brown. The Sister Wives star took to Instagram on Wednesday to put her followers on notice that there may be more to her story.

“Not all is always as it seems,” she warned fans on Wednesday. “Often, we accept a version of a story as truth because it fits the narrative we’ve created, or what we want to believe.”

She continued—“It’s not always about what you’re looking at but also where you’re looking from. Everyone has their own experiences and their own truths.”

The TLC star wrapped her thoughts by reminding viewers that “no matter how flat the pancake is, it always has two sides.”

The message was set against a selfie of the reality star holding up a book with the words—“There’s so much more to the story…” written across the pic.

Fans theorized in the comment section that a tell-all book could be in the works.

Meri also posted a quote on her Instagram Story: “Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.”

Meri encouraged her fans to “worthy up” by finding their “courage” and “strength” earlier this week.

Meri reacted to footage of Kody sharing in a personal interview that he didn’t “consider” himself married to his first and once-legal wife, during the first part of the Sister Wives: One on One special.

“I’ve never heard him say that to me,” she admitted to host Sukanya Krishnan.

Meri noted that Kody had obviously “made the decision” to bow out of the marriage after being together for 32 years. Kody and Meri were legally married for 24 years.

Fans of the long-running series know that the plural family moved from Las Vegas to Flagstaff, Arizona in 2020, which only accelerated the downfall of their “love multiplied” narrative.

“Even since being in Flagstaff, he has led me to believe that he was trying,” Meri told Krishnan, during the episode.

Meri even claimed that Kody toasted her on the first anniversary of their move to Flagstaff, saying—“‘Cheers to a new beginning.’”

Meri explained that things went downhill from there. She shared that she called Kody to mark their second Flagstaff anniversary and he responded—“‘I don’t even know why you called me, Meri. We’re not married. We’re not acting as married.’”

“I said to him then, ‘If that’s where we are, don’t you think that we should address that publicly?’” she explained. “And he said, ‘No, I don’t want to address it. I don’t want that to be out there publicly because I don’t want that judgment.’”

Meri revealed that she would “definitely” be interested in a reconciliation, but she couldn’t say the same for Kody.

Kody and Meri share one child, Leon, formerly Mariah, who came out as transgender in June.

Kody and Meri’s split was confirmed only days after Kody’s second wife, Janelle, announced that she had been separated from her spiritual husband for “several months.”

Kody and his third wife, Christine, announced their breakup in November of last year, after a 25-year spiritual marriage.
