Christine Brown’s Daughter Gwendlyn Admits She Doesn’t Like ‘Stepmother’ Robyn Brown
Like mother, like daughter. Gwendlyn Brown, daughter of ex Sister Wives couple, Kody and Christine Brown, is keeping it real when it comes to how she really feels about her “stepmother,” Robyn Brown.
Gwen recently filmed a YouTube video to share her reaction to the 17th season of the TLC show — and admitted that she just doesn’t like Kody’s only remaining wife.
“I don’t really like her as a person,” Gwen said of Robyn. “Watching her [on Sister Wives] makes me like her less, for sure.”
Fans know that Gwen’s mother implied that her decision to leave the family was largely due to Kody’s relationship with his “favorite wife,” Robyn. Kody’s second wife, Janelle, left Kody after the show documented Christine’s move to Utah. Meri, Kody’s first wife, confirmed during the first part of the Sister Wives: One on One special that their spiritual marriage was officially over.
The 21-year-old previously dished about the collapsing family dynamic alongside a friend on TikTok. She shared more of her personal thoughts on the matter, in her solo YouTube video.
“I was like, ‘You’re leaving? Good for you!’ She told me she was moving and divorcing my father all at the same time, so I was all hype for her,” Gwen said, about her mom’s decision to leave the Brown clan.
She added—“Obviously I love her and obviously I visit her all the time, but she was going home and I was happy for her. And I didn’t really love the relationship they had. And she’s doing really great now.”
Gwen clarified that she was staying neutral about the issues that drove her parents apart.
“I’m on each of their sides as each of them are talking about it,” she explained. “Not that I should be choosing sides because these are my parents.”

Last month, Gwen addressed her own relationships with her father and his first wife, Meri Brown, during her TikTok appearance.
Gwen, who admitted that Kody acts a “little nicer” on the show, revealed that her father had been healing in the months since Christine moved to Utah.
“Because we all act for the show but he’s gotten a lot better since [this season was filmed]. He’s really healing and I’m really proud of him,” Gwen said.
She added that Kody had gained self-awareness in recent months.
“I think the strain of him having so many wives and forcing himself to believe in something he wasn’t really for kind of made him more of an upset, unhappy person,” Gwen said. “But he’s really healing. He’s getting a lot better.”
Gwen revealed that she is fond of Meri.
“I think Meri is a sweetie. I try to be around her but she’s super-popular,” Gwen said.
