Social Media Begs Jenelle Evans To Leave David After He Ruined Her Birthday
Jenelle Evans celebrated her birthday this month and fans are urging the former MTV star to dump her troubled husband, David Eason, after he ruined her special day.
For Jenelle’s 31st birthday, David Eason posted a video where Jenelle is seen smiling at her family with a beautiful birthday cake in front of her. Her kids were seated next to her as she reached for a bouquet of flowers beside her cake and smelled them before looking into her gift bag. The entire family sang “Happy Birthday” to Janelle with David’s voice being heard in the background. Jenelle blew out her candles and fans noticed she didn’t look happy in the clip.
One person encouraged Jenelle, 31, to leave her husband so she could be happy. “She looks drained and you can tell she is just forcing that smile for the kids. Really hope she sees the light one day and gets away from you!!”
Other Teen Mom fans shared the birthday video on Reddit, with another fan saying, “Between her Sad Birthday Girl selfies and his destroyed voice, you can tell that they’ve been fighting for days. I can’t imagine the cognitive dissonance the kids feel that they’re sitting there like everything’s normal and they didn’t just spend the last 72 hours screaming at each other.”
Most fans agreed that Jenelle and David’s home life gives off a lot of anxiety, while others said she looked very uninterested while celebrating her birthday. Before David’s post, Jenelle posted a post to her Instagram Story, wearing a tired expression while thanking fans for their birthday wishes.
“Thanks for all the birthday wishes [heart emoji],” she wrote.
In another series of posts, Jenelle accused David of bringing her down during her birthday.
“I don’t want to explain but just know that my birthday was ruined ? because of a narcissistic a**hole. My kids and Maryssa are the best and I couldn’t have asked for better kids. They are the sweetest ever! They make my birthday perfect.”
David responded to the accusations at the time with a cryptic post on his Facebook. “If you treat people the way they treat you, I promise they won’t fwu anymore,” he wrote.
Fans slammed David at the time for airing his marital problems online instead of talking it out with Jenelle. “They have been together for like 6 years, why do they still post like they’re in a 3 month relationship lmao.”
Another fan wrote, “Both still living those 2009 high school FB relationships. Wonder if they change their relationship status to “it’s complicated” everytime too?”
