Amy Roloff reflected on her family’s splintered relationships amid the drama involving the potential sale of Roloff Farms on Tuesday’s episode of Little People, Big World.

During Tuesday’s episode, Amy, 60, and her husband, Chris Marek, shared a discussion over her decision to participate in the farm’s traditional pumpkin season.

“I’ll admit, it’s not like I am 100 percent jumping up and down for joy because I still think I have some personal emotions and thoughts behind, you know, the farm, and what has gone down and everything,” Amy confessed.

Amy was referring to her ex-husband, Matt Roloff’s decision not to sell a portion of the farm to either of their sons, Jeremy and Zach Roloff.

Amy shared her fear that the children she shares with Matt will stop visiting the farm, to avoid the drama and heartache. Chris said that he believed that the adult kids would likely bring their own children to the annual pumpkin event.

“The farm will always be Roloff Farms,” Amy continued, in a confessional interview. “The Roloffs grew up there. But there’s a part of me that can definitely understand and see why not all the kids would be there because they don’t consider it their farm anymore. Maybe in time that will change depending on what happens to this farm, but I think at this very second, it’s Matt’s farm. It’s their dad’s farm, and it’s sad.”

Season 22 of the TLC show kicked off in the aftermath of Zach, 32, and Matt’s failed negotiation for the property. Matt and Jeremy were unable to strike a deal the previous year. Zach decided to pick up and move from Portland, Oregon to Battle Ground, Washington with his wife, Tori, and two children, in October 2021. Tori gave birth to the couple’s third child a few months later.

In May 2022, Matt put 16 acres of Roloff Farms, including the family farmhouse, on the open market. He removed the listing in October and announced a plan to convert the family’s longtime home into a rental property.

Zach and Tori admitted that they were estranged from Matt and his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, during the Season 23 LPBW premiere. The couple insinuated that Caryn had influenced Matt’s decision to not accept their offer on the property.

Zach described the back-and-forth that occurred during the meeting, where Matt implied that the couple “wasn’t good enough” to operate the family business. Caryn and Matt also recounted the tense conversation for TLC viewers. Matt defended Caryn’s involvement, explaining that a second set of ears helped him process information.

“[Matt and Caryn] still think they have done nothing wrong,” Zach noted during an episode that aired last month.

Matt and Zach have since taken steps to mend their father/son rift, but Zach and Tori’s relationship with Caryn seemingly remains distant.
