‘RHONY’ OG Talks Ramona Singer’s Return To Bravo

The Real Housewives of New York City fan favorite Ramona Singer is projected to return to the Bravo network in the near future, according to a Housewife OG.

Luann de Lesseps

During a December episode of Two T’s In A Pod, host Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp interviewed Real Housewives of New York City star, Luann de Lesseps.

Luann dished about Ramona’s exit from the Bravo reality series. Luan, 66, said she thinks the OG star might return to Bravo’s spin-off show, The Real Housewives of New York Legacy. “Everyone wants her back, I feel like Ramona is such a — you know, OG,” she said.

Ramona Singer, 65, appeared on The Real Housewives of New York City from season 1 up until its cancellation during its 13th season. de Lesseps continued, “She’s a big part of the show – I feel like we’re going to see her somehow … I don’t know if she’s completely gone. I think she makes great television and I think that the fans will miss her. And we will miss her because she’s just Ramona, you know? And just all these crazy antics she does.”

In October, Ramona told Housewives producer, Carlos King, during the Reality with The King podcast that she is happy now that people don’t recognize her that much.

I really don’t like being recognized, all of the sudden people aren’t bugging me. They aren’t like ‘oh my god, it’s you Ramona, I know you are on a date, can I have a photo,’ you know, I just don’t like all the attention.”

Ramona also said the man she is dating doesn’t like all the attention either, so not filming has worked out in her favor.  Aside from Ramona, Luann also spoke about the spin-off show and what fans can expect during its premiere in 2023.

“I think they are still trying to make deals and figure out who exactly is on that cast. But word on the street is that maybe sometime in the spring.”

The “Money Can’t Buy You Class” singer also spoke about the new show she will be starring in alongside Sonja Morgan. She explained that filming Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake involved a lot of fun and helping out.

Luann said, “We both grew up in small towns, Sonja and I, so it’s not like we don’t know what it’s like to grow up in a small town. But it’s just wild to be back in a small town again.”
