‘RHOBH’ Star Garcelle Beauvais Accused Of BLEACHING Her Skin
Garcelle Beauvais posted a photo of herself in a beautiful green gown, and some fans have accused The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star of bleaching her skin.
The photo was posted on Garcelle Beauvais’ Instagram account on December 16, with the caption, “Banging Friday!”
Some of Garcelle Beauvais’ followers praised her look in the comment section.
Fans commented, “Gorgeous,” “Beautiful,” and “Wow is there a color you don’t wear the hell out of?”
One fan even compared Garcelle, 56, to singer Jennifer Lopez saying, “My first thought was why does Garcelle have a pic of Jennifer Lopez on her page? Lol beautiful!”
However, other fans pointed out that Garcelle’s skin seemed much lighter. One person asked, “Why do you look like a white woman?” while another said, “Why are you bleaching your skin? I’m so disappointed!”
“She’s gone bleach cream crazy,”a person commented.
Another critic wrote: “Maybe its the skin bleaching product that she uses.”
Someone else asked, “Is it elective skin-bleaching? Maybe she has a skin disease we’re not aware of like Michael Jackson.”
A fan noted, “How the f**k you got so light-skin…you need to pray for a tan… it’s giving michael jackson.”

Despite most people calling Garcelle, 56, out, another fan came to her defense and said it could be the lighting at the shoot that is making her look lighter. They wrote, “Why is it your business if she is. You don’t need to call her out in this public way. And put your thinking cap on it could be lighting!”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has spoken about how she prioritizes her skin care. Garcelle told New Beauty in 2021, “it’s important to love the skin you’re in and take care of it; investing early in your health helps prevent problems later on and keeps you looking and feeling your best. No matter what I have going on, skin care is a priority for me because it helps me relax and allows me to spend a few minutes focusing on myself.”
Garcelle has been under more scrutiny from fans since she joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She said the latest season of the Bravo reality series left her crying almost every day.
Garcelle said during BravoCon, that after she and her son, Jax, got so many racist attacks on social media that they were afraid to leave their home.
“It affected me so much more than I can tell you. Weeks before the reunion, I was a wreck. I felt like I wasn’t in my body, I felt shaky, I was crying every day and feeling fearful at my home. It was really hard. I got to a place that I made it to the reunion and I felt like I could hold my own.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is currently on hiatus after a tumultuous season 12.
