Wheel Of Fortune’s Host Pat Sajak Shocked After NSFW Answer
A contestant during a recent episode of Wheel of Fortune shocked Pat Sajak with her answer during the bonus round.
Cincinnati based performer Kate stole the show with her answer under the category “What are you doing?” The puzzle which was looking for ‘Fixing a leak’ only has ‘N’ at the beginning followed by ‘A’ and ‘L E A’. When asked to solve the puzzle Kate failed to guess correctly within the given time period so Pat let her down easy. Kate replied, “I kept thinking of doing something else with a leak. And I didn’t think that was it.”Pat, 76 responded with “Yeah” before he realized what Kate really meant.
The host dropped the prize card as he stared directly into the camera in horror. As the crowd began laughing, so did Kate to the point that she was crying and wiping tears from her face. Pat then picked up the card and added, “Excuse me, these get heavy sometimes.” He opened the card to reveal Kate would have won an extra $40 thousand if she got the puzzle correct. Kate still went home with $48 thousand and her answer went viral on Twitter.
After she realized what the answer was, the show cut back to Pat on stage.
Viewers responded with one fan writing, “Did that lady just try to solve the final Wheel of Fortune puzzle (on a Disney episode) with ‘taking a leak’?” Another fan tweeted, “And that’s how you make a Freudian slip on a Wheel of Fortune game show. Priceless!”
A third person said Kate was the best Wheel of Fortune contestant of all time. This incident comes after Pat dropped to the floor because another contestant took too long to solve a puzzle. Sajack and Vanna White, 65, were joined by popular Disney characters for the show’s special ‘Secret Santa Week.’
Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto Disney who is ABC’s parent company appeared on Friday’s special episode. Pat’s daughter, Maggie Sajak also joined the show as a social correspondent. When Pat asked her, “Are you having fun with this?”
Maggie, 40, responded saying, “I’m having so much fun, but the best part is hanging out with Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto, it’s been so much fun!” One fan tweeted about the interaction. “Maggie completely dissed her own father by NOT saying the best part was hanging out with him and Vanna!”
