‘Sister Wives’ Janelle Brown Moving To Utah With Christine After Dumping Kody
During part one of the Sister Wives special, One on One, Janelle and Kody revealed that they split up.
A source close to Janelle revealed that the reality star is happy that everyone finally knows she and Kody, 53, are no longer together.
The insider also said, “Janelle is so relieved that everyone knows now that she’s done with Kody so she can officially move on with her life. She has been spending time in Las Vegas with her daughter. She’s figuring things out and next steps.”
They added that Janelle’s main focus right now is to gain financial stability, and she will “stay with Savannah until she can afford a new home.”
Janelle and Kody share six children together, Savannah, 18, Madison, 27, Logan, 28, Gabriel, 32, Garrison, 24, and Hunter, 24. The source also said the Sister Wives star is even thinking about moving closer to Christine, 50. Before then, Janelle has been sharing all the fun she has been having since moving to Las Vegas.
She recently posted her favorite moments celebrating Savannah’s 18th birthday and captioned it, “We had a fun early birthday celebration in Vegas last weekend. Dinner with friends and family on the Strip and then a tour through the Enchant light display. Fun and memorable evening.”
The source also told The U.S. Sun that Janelle is excited about her future as a single woman and is currently focused on improving her health.
“She’s very much looking forward to the new year and exploring different options in terms of dating and her next career move. She’s primarily focused on her health journey.” Janelle follows Kody’s former wife, Christine, who left the TLC star and moved to Utah after 26 years of marriage.
Another source told the news outlet that Christine had something to do with Janelle’s split from Kody. “Janelle had no real reason to leave until Christine pointed it out to her.”
They added that Kody and Janelle’s split began during COVID when Christine showed the rest of the sister wives that they don’t need Kody.
“With all certainty, the final straw was in May or June. It was in the beginning of summer where it’s been completely dissolved between Janelle and Kody.” The source continued to say about Janelle, “She’s no longer claiming to be his wife. She does not believe she’s part of the equation of marriage with Kody anymore. It’s done, it’s over.”
