Lenny Hochstein Claims RHOM ‘Hot Mic’ Shocker was Edited to Favor Ex Lisa
Lenny Hochstein claims that Real Housewives of Miami producers edited his shocking “hot mic” moment to favor his estranged wife, Lisa Hochstein.
The plastic surgeon alleged to Page Six that producers intentionally cut some of his commentary during the scene. He also claimed that he had repeatedly told Lisa, 40, that he wanted a divorce.
“The fact is I told her dozens of times. She just either didn’t care or didn’t take me seriously,” Lenny, 56, said.
He added—“The hot mic was edited, and they didn’t air the part of me complaining about her constant partying. They just put in a small part about me saying how I just go to work and come home and she does whatever she wants.”
Lenny stated that he believes that Peacock is creating a narrative that makes the RHOM star “look like the innocent one” while painting him as a “villain.”
“The fact is that I had already made the decision to leave Lisa,” he said. “It was my hope that it could wait until the filming ended.”
The surgeon alleged that he “couldn’t take it” anymore after Lisa returned home at 7:30 am, after jumping from her “Good Vibes” hosting gig to yet another party. He claimed that his wife “didn’t get out of bed all day.”
“I lost it and told her that I couldn’t take it,” he recalled. “Not even one more day.”
Lenny also called out his ex’s claim that she was “blindsided” by his decision to leave the marriage. The “boob god” claimed that Lisa had been “interviewing lawyers up to two years prior.”
“She knew what she was doing and already had plan,” he asserted.
Lisa’s rep fired back at Lenny, telling the outlet—“Sounds like something someone who got caught on a hot mic would say. It was his voice saying what he said on the mic.”
Lisa shared during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live earlier this week that she was “devastated” by Lenny’s comments captured on the hot mic because she felt that their marriage was looking up.
“We’re holding hands. We’re taking photos together. Everything seemed lovely,” she recalled. “Two days later, he was acting super strange, and I asked him what’s up … and he said, ‘We’re getting a divorce, and … you’re going to get a front-row seat to me dating.’”
Followers of the drama know that Lenny immediately moved on with model, Katharina Mazepa, after leaving the marriage. Lisa has seemingly tested the dating waters as well, as she was recently spotted getting cozy with tech entrepreneur Jody Glidden.
“He’s my friend. I’m not, like, dating anyone seriously at all,” Lisa later told Page Six. “Like, you know, of course, I have friends. I meet people. I’m, you know, I’m not dead. Like, it’s been seven months [since the breakup]. But, you know, there’s no, like, serious relationship on the horizon. I’m just trying to live my life and have fun.”
The Real Housewives of Miami is currently streaming on Peacock.
