Today’s Hoda Kotb Calls Out Co-Host Jenna Bush Hager’s Drunken Behavior

Jenna Bush Hager clapped back after her Today co-host, Hoda Kotb, called out her drunken behavior while discussing SantaCon, a NYC bar crawl event that took place over the weekend. Thousands of partiers dressed up like Santa Claus and got drunk in the streets, during the boozy event.  

Jenna, 41, who shared that she participated in the raucous event before becoming a mother, asked Hoda, 58, if she had ever taken part in the tipsy tradition. 

“No! You know when you have a wild night …” Hoda responded. “I’m realizing I like to have fun and have great laughs but I don’t love to feel like a drunkey monkey.”

“I like to have a buzz and have fun. I don’t like to be like, blahhh,” Hoda said, before imitating a sloppy drunk. 

Jenna replied—”I’ve never seen you like that.”

Hoda fired back—”I know because I haven’t been like that in a while. I’ve seen you like that!”

Jenna, who appeared hurt by her co-host’s remark, said—”No, you have not! That is judgy!”

Hoda denied being “judgy,” but Jenna protested, commenting—”Yes, it sure was. When have you seen me like that?”

Hoda dissolved into laughter, repeating the question—”When have I seen you like that?” Jenna giggled, seemingly accepting her point. 

Hoda was teased by her colleagues last week after she took over Al Roker’s closet during his health-related absence from Today. 

“I wrote him a text. Al, you gotta come back. This is like turning out to be Hoda’s third closet,” Carson Daly joked. “There’s a whole rack of clothes in there!”

Hoda interjected—”Carson! He sent me that picture! He said something, like: ‘My work wife is now taking over my closet!’”

Roker has been struggling to recover amid health issues, since late November. 

The weatherman revealed last month that he was suffering from blood clots in both his legs and lungs. Roker was hospitalized the day after Thanksgiving, after being released only 24 hours before the scary setback.  

An eyewitness told Page Six—”Al was taken from his home on a stretcher back to the hospital on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. His condition was worrying, but once back in the hospital, he improved.”

The insider added—“His wife, Deborah, was understandably very upset. She had left her phone and other possessions inside their Tesla, which had malfunctioned and wouldn’t unlock, so she was trying to smash in a window.”

The source added—“Deborah then went to the hospital by taxi with her daughter, where Al has since been surrounded by his family.”
