‘Sister Wives’ Fans Demand TLC Dump Kody Brown and Give Christine and Janelle a Spinoff Show
A preview of the upcoming Sister Wives three-part Tell All special confirmed that Kody and Janelle Brown had split — and fans applauded the news.
“I think if we both really sat down, we’d look at each other say, ‘Really?’” Janelle told host Sukanya Krishnan, in a teaser. “We’ve been separated for several months.”
“Janelle has made it pretty clear to me that she’s enjoying her life without me,” Kody said in the clip.
Viewers cheered Janelle for making her move in the wake of Kody’s third wife, Christine Brown’s departure from the family, last year. Christine and Kody announced their breakup in November 2021, after a 25-year spiritual marriage.
Fans sounded off about the plural game-changer on social media — and let the network know how they felt about the series moving on with only Kody, Robyn, and Meri Brown in the mix.
A flood of viewers are demanding that TLC reward Christine and Janelle with their own spinoff show.
Fans know that Kody and Meri share only a platonic relationship and with Janelle’s exit, Kody’s “love multiplied” narrative is hanging by a thread. The TLC patriarch is currently living in a monogamous relationship with his only legal wife, Robyn Brown, shattering the entire premise of the long-running reality series.
Fans are already looking ahead to next season and sending a clear message to TLC, via social media.
