Mia Thornton Attacks Ashley Darby Over Feud with Wendy Osefo
Mia Thorton came after Ashley Darby for supporting Wendy Osefo after she threw a drink in her face.
Mia Thorton and Wendy Osefo’s altercation at Peter Thomas’ restaurant led to some uncomfortable moments for the cast of The Real Housewives of Potomac. After the incident, Mia insisted that she was the victim and had issues with Candiace Dillard Bassett, Karen Huger, and Ashley Darby still showing support to Wendy.
During the recent episode, Mia Thorton had a problem with Ashley after she invited Wendy to the cast dinner at a Greek restaurant. She tells the cameras, “I don’t see why Wendy can’t be a part of the group. If ultimately the trip was mainly for Karen’s birthday, it would make sense that Karen’s friend Wendy is allowed to come to the dinner.”
Ashley calls Wendy and invites her to eat with them before returning to inform the ladies at the table. “So I did talk to Wendy. She’s nearby.” Candiace then asks “Did you invite her?” Ashley responds, “She’s going to stop by for a minute. I don’t see the issue with her joining us for a drink or dinner. I think it’s fair.”
Mia Thorton, who is seated next to Ashley, fires at her saying, “You disrespectful little brat.” Ashley clapped back at Mia and called her a bully for forcing everyone to leave out Wendy from their Miami trip plans. “I’m a brat? And what are you? A bully? Yeah, that’s how your acting.”
Thorton had said earlier, “You got one chance with me. Strike out,” referring to Ashley. Charrisse Jackson-Jordan also came after Ashley for the move, “I think it’s unfair for you to make a decision for the group without discussing it with anybody.” Mia then added with a smile, “Right.” However, Darby stood her ground and defended Wendy.
“I don’t think it’s fair that this woman left her family to spend time here with this group and now because of one mess she has been ostracized from the whole group,” she said. During their back and forth, Candiace jumped in and called out Jacqueline Blake for not defending Mia.
“You’re not going to jump in and defend your friend?” to which Jacqueline says, “Shut up and mind your business.” The two throw nasty words at each other before Wendy arrives at the restaurant. Robyn also comes after Ashley for inviting Wendy.
“Put yourself in Mia’s shoes and if you had a confrontation with someone to the degree that they had, would you want that person back around without your blessing?”
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sunday nights, at 8 pm ET, on Bravo.
