’90 Day Fiancé’ Liz Questions Relationship With Ed Amid Daughter’s Custody Battle
Big Ed Brown and Liz Woods are taking the next step in their relationship, however, Liz still has doubts.
During Sunday night’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Liz learned that her daughter Ryleigh’s father is going to be re-stationed abroad, leaving her to think about Ryleigh’s future. Liz questioned whether should she fight for custody of her daughter or allow Ryleigh to move out of the country with her dad. Liz also considered what the courts may think of her relationship with Ed.
“I have to think about — where’s her best stability?” Liz said about Ryleigh. “If we’re to go to mediation about this, what will be thrown back in my face? My failed relationships. Do I have stability? Do I have a partner? My whole world just got flipped upside down.”
Liz then switched the topic to Ed, saying, “Now I need to know if I’m gonna have a partner that’s gonna stick with me through every battle because I need him now more than ever.”
Liz plans to return to work full-time so that she can financially provide for both herself and Ryleigh just in case things with Ed go left. Liz noted that she needs more emotional stability from Ed before confidently moving forward with their relationship.
“I definitely feel like I need to see more from Ed — more of an emotional stability with him,” she cried to the cameras. “Because what’s most important for me is my relationship with my daughter.”
Later in the episode, the couple went house hunting. During a house tour, Ed expressed that he wants to bond and build a stronger relationship with Ryleigh. Liz then suggested their family move out of San Diego for a fresh start.
“We’ve gotta get stable with each other,” Ed replied. “This — Ryleigh — that’s what’s important. I like what you’re saying. I love you.”
The couple’s positive moment comes after the couple briefly broke up due to a huge fight Ed caused when he accused Liz of having a lesbian relationship with one of her former coworkers. Liz threw a fit and threw her engagement ring in a bush. Ed called off the engagement, but the couple eventually worked things out off-camera.
