‘RHOP’ RECAP: Robyn Exposes Candiace’s IG Live Rant Calling The Ladies ‘Fake A** H*es’

Welcome back to an all-new episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac! The ladies are still in Miami for Mia Thornton’s girls’ trip, where there have been more fights than bonding moments. The ladies are getting ready for dinner as Gizelle Bryant wonders where the food and the action are! The place is crickets as Gizelle plays on her phone and the birthday girl, Karen Huger, joins her. Karen tells Gizelle about Mia not facilitating Karen’s birthday dinner and as Mia and Jacqueline Blake get ready, Mia thought she heard Karen tell her she didn’t want her to host the dinner. Karen isn’t phased a bit and just waiting on dinner to be served. Ashley Darby comes down ready for “shot o’clock” as the ladies head downstairs for a beverage. 

Jacqueline shows the entertainment for the night where to set up and initiates the gathering, claiming Mia’s under the weather. Jacqueline thanks the ladies for coming as the ladies wonder what the hell is going on. The ladies toast to a very happy five-nine for Karen as Robyn Dixon joins the table. Drinks are on the way as Ashley compliments Jacqueline on her hosting skills. Mia saunters down the stairs, all sour-faced, as Gizelle breaks the ice by suggesting the ladies share their favorite funny Karen moment. Candiace Dillard-Bassett picks the “wig shift” and Ashley picks her “imposer” moment. Robyn picks the control your man kiss and Gizelle liked the “clank clank” moment. Mia brought up when Gordon Thornton licked his tongue at Karen last season and the group gets a good laugh off that. 

The entertainment is ready to begin, and Karen gets hot and heavy as the dancers play with fire. After the show, Karen admits she needs to call Ray Huger as she thanks Mia for the gift. Ashley asks how the conversation between Mia and Karen went, and Karen takes the high road in saying everything is squashed. Candiace asks Karen what happens and then asks Ashley if she’s checked in on Dr. Wendy Osefo. Candiace checked on Wendy earlier and Wendy decided to sit this dinner out. Karen describes her lunch with Ashley, Wendy, and Candiace and admits the lunch was pleasant. Ashley and Candiace put their issues on pause for now, but now, Ashley doesn’t like Chris Bassett’s Twitter fingers. 

Ashley feels like Chris was threatening her and now Candiace is activated! Candiace says Gizelle makes things up and of course, Gizelle and Ashley seem shocked by Candiace’s unbotheredness. Candiace asks the table, “What’s next?” and Charrisse Jackson-Jordan chimes in. Charrisse is disappointed that drama ensures at every turn, and soon Jacqueline, Mia, and Candiace go back and forth as Karen sings “Happy Birthday” to herself. Two hours later, Candiace goes on Instagram Live to say “F*ck all those h*es.” Oop! Things are about to get messy! The next day, Karen is still singing “Happy Birthday” to herself as the ladies wake up and make themselves coffee. 

Robyn and Gizelle read Mia’s text while in the pool and Mia jokes with Jacqueline about what Candiace said the night before. Mia and Jacqueline continue talking mess about Candiace as producers show us what’s going on over at Wendy’s hotel. Wendy’s checking in with Eddie and the kids while she awaits her next move. Back at the house, Ashley’s chatting with her mom about Michael Darby texting her and how he may miss her when she’s away. Charrisse visits Candiace’s room and Candiace tells Charrisse that she’s drained. Charrisse wants Candiace to be happy in this group and Candiace can’t get over the rumors about Chris. 

Candiace feels like Ashley’s deflecting and that her divorce from Michael is fake! Charrisse thinks the divorce is real, but Candiace thinks it’s a scam, LOL. Charrisse hopes the ladies will be respectful to each other as she switches the conversation to Wendy. Candiace wants Wendy to come back so Candiace doesn’t have to face forehead (Ashley) alone, LOL. The ladies are ready for their day as Ashley dances for Tik Tok and Mia instructs the ladies on what to do. Mia separates the group, and everyone collectively agrees that Mia needs to do better with her hosting skills. The ladies get into their cars and Charrisse is “ready for a buzz” while Candiace and Robyn are silent in the back. 

Candiace begins by explaining that she wants to invite Wendy on the boat with them so Wendy’s not sitting in her hotel alone. Robyn side-eyes Candiace but doesn’t care whether Wendy comes or not. In car A, Karen tells Mia she wants to have fun today and wants to get to a better place. Jacqueline speaks up for Mia (again) claiming she needs an apology. Karen apologizes for being selfish on her birthday and the two make up. In the other car, Candiace FaceTimes Wendy, and Wendy agrees to get on the boat with them. Mia takes the ladies to Super Car to blast off in some Lambos. The other ladies meet their hostess as their greeted with cups to get their drink on. Mia sets the ladies up on a pedal boat, making them work for their ocean breeze. 

Wendy arrives just in time as the ladies take off on a booze cruise, peddling barefoot. Wendy asks about last night as we get a glimpse of the craziness the ladies got into the night before. Wendy’s doing good in her suite and actually got some work done in the meantime. Karen’s having a great time riding around with Mia, as she figures out how to drive the car. Back on the boat, the ladies struggle as they eat store-bought sandwiches. Ashley asks Robyn about her destination wedding and Robyn explains that she wants to have a small wedding but won’t elaborate because she’s around people who don’t like her. Wendy and Candiace remain quiet as Mia and Karen continue figuring out their Lambo. Karen finally figures it out as she runs red lights and proclaims to get “moist” while driving. 

Back at the house, the ladies are excited to get changed in order to go out once again. Robyn and Gizelle hug like they missed each other, and Mia talks about Karen’s driving. Mia instructs the ladies on the next spot as everyone gets ready for dinner. Robyn and Gizelle get dressed as Robyn pulls out her phone to share Candiace’s IG Live where she bad-mouthed all the girls. Robyn’s upset because she went out of her way to support Chris and now she doesn’t know what’s gotten into Candiace. Gizelle calls Candiace crazy as Robyn wonders why Candiace is even on the trip if she doesn’t like anyone. Robyn and Gizelle decide to bring it up at dinner as the rest of the ladies finish getting dressed. 

Karen chatted with Candiace about hanging with Wendy and Candiace wonders if the group is alright with Wendy coming to the last dinner. Mia doesn’t want Wendy there, but Ashley has other plans for Wendy. Everyone heads out and into the car, and soon, Robyn’s complaining about the sandwich she had on the boat ride. In the other car, Mia admits Jacqueline saw Ashley come downstairs naked and liked what she saw. Jacqueline is explaining in the other car that it’s not hard for her to couple up with others. Mia and Jacqueline are weird, and Mia explains to Gizelle that Jacqueline shares almost everything with Mia. Hmmm. The ladies arrive at the restaurant and are escorted to their seats while Ashley sneaks off to invite Wendy to dinner. 

Wendy agrees to come, and Ashley tells the table, with her chest, exactly what she did. Mia calls Ashley a “disrespectful, little brat,” and Ashley is taken aback! Ashley doesn’t understand the issue with Wendy coming and Mia proclaims Wendy has one chance with her. The ladies place their orders as Charrisse tells Ashley that it’s unfair that Ashley made the choice on behalf of the group. Ashley doesn’t like that Wendy’s ostracized from the group as Mia claims it’s about respect. Mia calls Ashley a brat and Ashley calls Mia a bully. Candiace asks Jacqueline if she’ll jump in to defend her friend and Candiace and Jacqueline curse each other out as Wendy walks up. 

Candiace and Ashley greet Wendy as Gizelle pulls Mia’s chair closer to her. Gizelle makes room as Candiace jokes about Gizelle not falling into the pool. Ashley wants people to voice their stances on what happened the other night. Wendy takes accountability for her words that hurt Mia as Mia continues looking sour-faced. The table is awkward as food comes out and soon Robyn brings out the portable speaker as she plans to bring Candiace’s rants to light. Karen proclaims that Robyn has gone tech this year as Candiace’s voice spills from the speaker. Ashley tells the table that the voice is Candiace and things go from bad to worst. Candiace says everyone is “panhandling their businesses” and “f*** these h*es!”

Robyn wants to know why and if Candiace is talking about everyone. Candiace appreciates the ambush but doubles down that she meant exactly what she said. Robyn asks why Candiace is here and Candiace retracts that Robyn was the most loyal before things went to ish. Candiace wonders why Robyn waited until this moment, and Ashley chimes in, wondering why Candiace doesn’t say these things to their faces. Candiace tells Ashley she doesn’t like her and excludes Karen from the rant. Ashley then brings up the fact that Candiace told Ashley about Karen allegedly dating other men. Karen gets quiet and looks dead into Candiace’s eyes and asks her point-blank, “Did you say that?” Candiace denies telling Ashley these things and editors show proof. 

Karen gets very upset as Candiace continues deflecting without telling the truth. Karen tells the table that unless they have names, numbers, or pictures, they need to STFU! Candiace continues lying as Karen gets up and storms from the table. Candiace tells Karen that Ashley’s lying. Candiace tells Ashley to go get Karen as Karen comes back to listen to the rest of the lies. Candiace begins crying as Gizelle wonders why Candiace is crying and Candiace calls Gizelle evil. Candiace calls Chris as she cries about the ladies stabbing her in the back. The rain is pouring as someone else properly celebrates their birthday with a cake and candle. 

The ladies leave and Candiace clowns Gizelle for dipping out early as the young girls head out to the club. Four hours later, the ladies are tearing it up in the club! The ladies got drunk and started loving on each other, but after that, things got fuzzy for Candiace. At 3:25 a.m., Ashley recorded Robyn and Candiace arguing as Robyn calls Mia while they were still yelling at each other in the car. Candiace is upset that Robyn backstabbed her and continues calling her fake as Mia listens on. Mia hangs up on the girls as Candiace and Robyn continue yelling at each other. The episode ends with a few f-bombs being dropped as we get a look at the mid-season trailer. Be sure to come back next week for a brand-new episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac!
