11 Messy Feuds That Rocked ‘The Real Housewives’ 

With 2022 coming to a close soon, All About The Tea thought it would be a good time to revisit some of the most messiest Housewives feuds to rock Bravo.

Over the years, the ladies of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Real Housewives of New Jersey, Real Housewives of Orange County, Real Housewives of New York City, and Real Housewives of Potomac have delivered next-level drama.

1. Kandi Burruss vs. Phaedra Parks

Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss were once close friends on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, however, it came to an end when the Xscape singer found out that Phaedra started a rumor about her and her husband, Todd Tucker, wanting to drug and r-pe their co-star, Porsha Williams.

2. Monique Samuels vs. Candiace Dillard Bassett

During season five, Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard Bassett got into a physical altercation that ultimately ended their friendship, and divided the cast.

The drama started after Candiace intentionally befriended Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, who was spreading malicious rumors about Monique’s marriage around town. The goal was to bring Charrisse on the show to discuss the rumors while filming. After their fight, Monique found herself iced out by some of her RHOP co-stars. Candiace refused to film with Monique. Both women faced second-degree assault charges stemming from the incident, but the charges were eventually dismissed. Candiace threatened to leave the Bravo reality series if Monique returned for season 6. In the end, Monique decided to walk away from the drama and quit the show.

3. NeNe Leakes vs. Kim Zolciak

NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak feuded over the years about various issues — from theft of a song (Don’t Be Tardy For The Party), to the infamous “Close your legs to married men,” a tour bus debacle in Miami, but it was their cockroach showdown that closed the door on their friendship. In October 2017, NeNe slammed Kim’s daughter Brielle with claims of “prejudice,” after the mother-daughter pair visited NeNe’s home and found cockroaches in NeNe’s bathroom, which Brielle filmed and posted on social media.

4. Lisa Vanderpump vs. Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley

In season 9, the infamous PuppyGate scandal was front and center. PuppyGate led Lisa Vanderpump to exit Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and ruined relationships between her and former best friends, Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley.

Kyle accused Lisa of leaking the story to the press, upsetting the Vanderpump Rules star. The pair then ended up in a heated argument, with Lisa’s husband, Ken Todd, kicking Kyle out of their home, while yelling “Goodbye Kyle!”

5. Teresa Giudice vs. Melissa Gorga 

Real Housewives of New Jersey costars and sisters-in-laws, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga, have arguably the messiest family feud in reality television history.

From the violent physical brawls to Teresa Giudice accusing Melissa of being a gold digging cheater, to Melissa going behind Teresa’s back to get on the Bravo reality series. Then in 2022, Melissa and Joe did not to attend Teresa’s wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas, after Teresa betrayed the couple while filming season 13 of RHONJ.

6. Danielle Staub vs. Teresa, Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita

In season one and two of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, a book exposing Danielle Staub’s criminal history surfaced around their New Jersey town. The contents of the book ultimately led her to fall out with Teresa Giudice, Caroline Manzo, Dina Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita. Danielle was bullied, chastised, chased through a country club by Teresa, and had her hair yanked by Ashley Holmes. Teresa’s iconic table flip was a result of confronting Danielle about her book.

7. Bethenny Franklin vs. Luann de Lesseps

Bethenny Franklin and Luann de Lesseps got into one of the scariest fights Real Housewives of New York City history during the group’s vacation to Miami. Bethenny screamed at Luann over dinner as she accused the Countess of being self-absorbed and ungrateful for Bethenny’s help with getting her into rehab. At the end of the season, Bethenny left the show for good.

8. Dorinda Medley vs. Luann de Lesseps

Dorinda Medley and Luann de Lesseps’ Jovani feud stirred up a lot of drama this. Luann even released a diss track, “Feeling Jovani,” to rub the fight in Dorinda’s face. Dorinda, like Bethenny, accused the Countess of being too obsessed with her cabaret show to be a good friend.

9. Kelly Dodd vs. Vicki Gunvalson

Kelly Dodd and Vicki Gunvalson’s friendship imploded during season 13 of The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion when Vicki accused Kelly using cocaine. That fight spilled over into season 14, as Vicki was demoted to a “friend of” role. During one episode, Kelly said she’d rather attend Vicki’s funeral than her birthday party. Vicki returned to the show full-time for season 15, and their feud got even nastier.

10. Kelly Dodd vs. Shannon Beador

Kelly Dodd and Shannon Beador have never quite seen eye-to-eye, but things really boiled over during what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway for the women. Shannon was standing in a large bowl with another bowl on her head, while staff from the Miraval circled her and performed motions that would allegedly help clear her energy field and expand her aura. Kelly decided to hit Shannon over the head with a mallet from behind. Shannon didn’t find it funny and sought medical attention, afraid Kelly had damaged her brain. While the tests came back fine, the damage to their relationship was done.

11. Kelly Dodd vs. Tamra Judge

During a season 14 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Shannon Beador and Braunwyn Windham-Burke revealed to Kelly Dodd that Tamra Judge had been spreading rumors about her behind her back, including that she participated in a sex “train.” Then, she saw footage of Tamra talking about rumors that she pushed her mom down the stairs.
