‘RHOBH’ Lisa Rinna Salutes Harry Hamlin For Playing Gay Roles
Lisa Rinna gave a shout-out to two actors who have portrayed “iconic” gay characters on her Instagram Story — her husband, Harry Hamlin, and Will McCormick, who starred in the long running TV series, “Will and Grace.”
“Great shot of actors who have played iconic gay characters,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star wrote over a shot of the two men.

Lisa Rinna is reportedly on Bravo’s chopping block, and has been fighting to win over viewers in recent weeks. The Bravo star seemingly gave special attention to her gay fanbase in her pointed IG Story.
Last month, Rinna was almost booed off the stage at BravoCon, and only weeks later Star Magazine featured a report titled — “Lisa Rinna: Fired By Bravo?”
“Nobody would be sorry to see Lisa go,” a friend told the mag. “She’s obviously imploding and could use some time off.”
Lisa Rinna faced fierce fan backlash toward the end of Season 12, which featured the actress’ contentious feud with Kathy Hilton. Tensions between the two exploded after Rinna accused the socialite of threatening her sister and co-star, Kyle Richards.
Lisa Rinna’s social media antics also sparked controversy as the season unfolded. Bravo exec, Andy Cohen, called out her messy Instagram game, dubbing the reality star a “double disaster.”
Network executives and fans alike have reportedly been “clamoring for the housewife’s departure,” according to the scathing report.
Rinna, who has remained positive about her future on Bravo, admitted that she was her “own worst enemy” during Season 12. She also confessed that she should’ve sought out therapy after the death of her mother, Lois Rinna.
The Star insider said that Cohen was initially resistant to casting Rinna on the series, because he wanted “people who were rich,” not actresses.
“Other ladies were drama queens, but not Lisa,” the source explained of Lisa’s early years on the series. “[But] she obviously learned that being such a pot-stirrer meant she would get more camera time and better storylines. She felt it gave her an edge to say what’s on her mind, and of course the producers loved the drama it caused.”
The source added that if Bravo cuts Rinna she’ll likely write if off as a “mutual decision.”
“She could easily turn it around and say she quit because the show was toxic and not good for her mental health. [But] she doesn’t intend to let them have the last say,” the source noted. “Lisa admits she wasn’t herself this season. Her mom had passed away and she vented her grief at her costars, which she knows isn’t healthy.”
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 production is not expected to kick off until January 2023, amid a cast shakeup is imminent.
