Kyle Richards Cozying Up To Garcelle Beauvais Amid ‘RHOBH’ Alliance Shake Up
Production for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills doesn’t begin until January — but alliances are already shifting behind the scenes.
Fans took notice last week when some RHOBH cast members chimed in to wish Garcelle Beauvais a happy 56th birthday.
Kyle Richards shared a photo of Garcelle on her Instagram Story, captioning the post — “Happy birthday [Garcelle] May all your wishes come true!”
Sutton Stracke, Garcelle’s RHOBH bestie, chimed in with her own birthday wishes, writing — “Happy birthday to one of the smartest kindest most loyal people I know. So much that she gets 2 birthdays. I love you @garcelle to the bone. This is not a fake message. #realfriends.”
Fans raised a collective eyebrow at Kyle’s post, and many appeared to believe that her shout-out was really an attempt to win back disgruntled fans.
One person wrote — “Kyle likes to be adjacent any of the fan fava hoping it makes her more likable by extension.”
Others called Kyle “fake” and accused her of “sucking up” to Garcelle.
Another commented — “Tell me you’ve backed the wrong people all season and it’s tanked your family’s Netflix show challenge.”
An insider claims that friendships have shifted since certain people and events divided Kyle and her sister, Kathy Hilton, last season.
“There’s been an alliance shift among the ladies after Lisa Rinna drove a wedge between Kyle and Kathy,” a snitch tells AllAboutTheTea.com. “Kyle barely speaks to Lisa [Rinna] and Erika [Jayne] anymore since the reunion filmed.”
Kathy labeled Rinna “the biggest bully in Hollywood” as the pair hashed out the socialite’s alleged “psychotic break” on the Season 12 reunion stage.
Viewers know that Rinna claimed that Kathy tore into her co-stars and made harsh comments about her sister, Kyle Richards, after she escorted her home from a private Aspen nightclub.
The reunion concluded with Kyle and Kathy’s relationship hanging in the balance. Kyle wept uncontrollably over Kathy’s ongoing feud with Rinna and Erika, but Kathy didn’t buy into Kyle’s waterworks. Rinna called Kathy “the devil,” a “liar” and “mentally unstable,” but Kyle did not step in to defend her sister.
Kyle tearfully expressed concern that the siblings may never recover, as the reunion wrapped. Rinna was later slammed by fans for dividing the siblings and a flood of viewers called for Bravo to cut the actress from the Season 13 cast.
The source alleges that Kyle is trying to cozy up to Garcelle, after distancing herself from Rinna and Erika.
“Kyle stands to gain a whole lot being Garcelle’s friend, so she extended the olive branch so when filming starts they can shoot more scenes together,” a ROCK solid source tells AllAboutTheTea.com.
The tipster adds — “Since filming season 12, Kathy has kept her distance from Kyle and now they’re more estranged than ever.”
The RHOBH ladies are currently on hiatus, as Bravo exec, Andy Cohen, confirmed to E! News that the show would not begin filming until early next year. Bravo has yet to announce the Season 13 cast.
