‘Sister Wives’ Fans ‘RIP’ Kody Brown After He Dumps Janelle In Secret Footage

Kody and Janelle Brown’s spiritual marriage hangs by a thread in a preview clip featured during Sunday’s episode of Sister Wives — and fans had plenty to say about it.  

Tensions have been building between Kody and Janelle amid the patriarch’s split from third wife, Christine. The couple hits a wall on next week’s episode when Kody seemingly puts Janelle on notice that their marriage might be over.  

“We haven’t been acting like a married couple for most of our marriage, Janelle,” Kody tells his second wife in the sneak peek. 

“I’m spitting mad now,” Janelle says in a personal interview. 

“Maybe this is not a good fit. Maybe this doesn’t work,” Kody declares, adding, “It feels like we’re unraveling.”

Janelle, who appears shocked, asks—”I’m thinking what the hell am I doing here?”

Kody twists the knife when he compares his spiritual relationships to his marriage with fourth and only legal wife, Robyn. 

“I have somebody in life who’s fundamentally loyal to me,” Kody remarks. 

Janelle reacts, commenting — “I’m not going to become Robyn.”

Lots of viewers believe that they’ve pegged Kody’s alleged game plan, as the family breakdown continues to unfold on the show.

One person tweeted — “So Kody is slowly but surely ending every marriage with every wife but Robyn & then turning it around & making the wife feel like she was at fault for it. Janelle won’t tolerate this shit. Go be with your 1 & only Kody.”

Another wrote — “Okay Kody is gonna leave Janelle before she can leave him…” 

One fan wanted to know—“Are we going to get a bonus divorce and see Janelle leave Kody too???” 

Janelle accused Kody of using her for her “buying power” during a discussion over potentially purchasing Christine’s house, featured during Sunday’s episode. 

“All Kody talked about was how much he was sad that he was losing this house that Christine had. He loved it,” Janelle said in a confessional. “He didn’t want to lose it. So it sort of felt like he was using me and my buying power to save this house that he loves.”

Some fans believe that Kody is pushing Janelle to her limit, to force her out of the family.

One viewer wrote on Twitter — “Kody you are not fooling us. It is clear as can be that the new chapter is titled ….’Make Janelle feel inadequate, difficult and illogical as if she is an issue so she will also leave.’ It is crystal clear Kody. Crystal clear.”

Another person chimed in—“Kody’s beside himself about Janelle wanting to build on CP. Doing everything he can to push her away. Stalling. Robyn’s out there on a bench watching Janelle like Get Off My Lawn, making her uncomfortable. Just what are they up to?”

One fan said — “Kody is setting up a trap for Janelle to leave him too, he has a pattern. Treat his wives like shit until they are ready to leave. I feel for Janelle, I wish she could see her relationship from the bird’s eye view.”

Another tweeted — “Kody is going to find any way to postpone this build for Janelle so he can eventually not build with her at all and live a life with just Robyn.”

A third added — “Now I’m just patiently Waiting for Janelle to announce that she left kody.”
